초록

This study was prepared for the purpose of examining how North Korea's excavation result was specifically applied to South Korea's research of Goryeo's first step celadon making, and of forecasting the available aspect for a future research. A research in South Korea on Goryeo Celadon is now increasing an outcome over diverse sections. Especially, the newly discovered Celadon kiln sites and the excavated relics further broadened the width of a study about Goryeo Celadon. Given expanding a research scope into North Korean regions based on the progress in this study, it will be available for grasping more multi-dimensionally the spreading method and the consumption propensity in Celadon culture throughout the country. This process will lead to being available for expecting even the extension in awareness as well as for being spread the sphere of a research on the history of Korean pottery. Like Goryeo Celadon, the common cultural heritage in our nation is an important resource that will fill up a difference in culture and recognition between South and North Korea that was made by the time close to about 70 years following the division. Therefore, we will need to proceed with magnifying research capability and scope through organically applying North Korean research materials to a study on the history of Korean ceramics, and with arranging even a research task that South and North Korea can perform together.
The South and North Korea came to have a bigger difference even in a method of interpreting the same cultural heritage as much as the time in long division. A joint research in South and North Korea on Goryeo Celadon, which is our nation's representative cultural heritage, will lead to being available for being arranged the common perception in South and North Korea even in a minor way. This common awareness is gradually extended, thereby being expected to be likely utilized as the cornerstone in the unification.
