공간을 중심으로 한 <북찬가(北竄歌)>의 새로운 이해와 접근 (A Study on New Understanding and Approach of Based on Space)

초록

This study starts from the reflection that most of the study about<Bukchanga(北竄歌)> is nothing more than looking at the character of exileGasa in late Joseon and aims at finding out individual characteristics of<Bukchanga(北竄歌)>. In other words, the work is outstanding in the perspective that there have been changes of space and the perception of subjectdue to transportability.
In order to clarify the changes of perception about reality and attitude,I determined that space has social features which are the means ofperception related with understanding and attitude of subject, beyond thephysical dimension. Based on such perception, it was possible for me to lookinto the perception about reality and attitude of subject in safe havenGanghwa(江華), the journey to a place of exile and the place of exile respectively. Ganghwa is an emasculated place for the social and political naturefollowing political defeat. In the journey to a place of exile, there are chancesand experiences to recover emasculated social and political nature. On theother hand, in the place of exile, those natures retreat again owing tophysical isolation and disconnection. On the contrary to previous cases,transportability plays a role that the perception and attitude about nationalpolitics are located in the boundary of the subject’s experience.
Such attempt to pay attention to space is expected to be another methodto bring about new understanding about the exile Gasa work like <Bukchanga(北竄歌)>.
