인제군 金富大王 관련 지명유래의 현황과 의미 (The Significance and the Distribution of Place Name's Origin on the Related to Kimbu the Great king(Maui prince) in Inje-gun)

이 논문은 金富大王(麻衣太子) 관련 지명과 지명유래가 인제군과 어떤 관련을 맺으며, 그 의미는 무엇인지 알아보는 것이었다.
먼저 인제군에 김부대왕 관련 지명의 분포를 알아보기 위해 현재 전하고 있는 문헌과 지역을 살폈다. 김부대왕과 관련된 지명은 『송간고』(1573)에 기록된 ‘김부왕묘(金溥王墓)’를 시작으로 몇 차례에 걸쳐 관련 지명이 생성과 변이와 확대를 거쳤으며, 급격한 변화는 1980년부터였다. 지역상의 분포현황은 남면 갑둔리, 김부리 권역과 한계산성 권역이었다. 문헌에는 첨부와 분식이 있기 전부터 김부대왕 관련 지명이 있었으며, 집중적으로 분포한 지역은 마의태자의 이동경로와 일치하고 있었다.
다음 김부대왕 관련 지명유래가 갖는 의미를 두 가지 면에서 살폈다. 첫째는 김부대왕 관련 지명유래의 인제에서 위상인데, 김부대왕에 대한 관심, 김부대왕제, 지명활용 등을 통해 볼 때, 인제사람은 언제든지 김부대왕을 수용할 자세가 되어 있었다. 둘째는 김부대왕 관련 지명유래의 수용의미를 살폈는데, 김 씨 문중에서는 조상의 행적을 찾았으니 선양을 했고, 이태두는 김부탑을 발견했으니 역사적 사실로 알았고, 인제사람들은 고장에 구국의지를 가진 훌륭한 사람이 있었으니 자랑스러웠던 것이다.

영어초록

This paper is intended to investigate the distribution and the meaning of place name's origin. The targets are the place name related to Kimbu the Great (Maui prince)and its origin. The reason why this study targeted on Kimbu the great‘s place name is it has caused lots of controversies currently. There is a certain time when so many place names and origines had generated. In this paper, it was discussed in how the place name ingrained in Inje-gun, the meaning and application. To investigate the distribution of the place name related to Kimbu the great king, I explored literature and the area. It was the first time to use place name associated with Kimbu in 『Songgango』(1573) recorded in the comments ‘Kimbuwangmyo(金溥王墓)'. After a few times over the generation, transformation and expansion related to the place name was followed. Maui prince was derived from <Mauitaija> the novel by Lee Gwangsu. The origin of place name was recorded finally in 1957 years, since 1980 years it has brought expansion and variations rapidly. Distribution in local area was over in Gabdun-ri Nam-myeon and Gimbu-ri. There are more than 31 related place names and also some of them were existed even before the correction and fraud. heavily distributed area was consistent with the migration path of Maui prince.
The implication of the place name related Kimbu the great king was studied in three phases. First, it was explored in which way the place name meant to be in Inje. From various books published in Inje, Kimbu the great king memorial, academic seminars, a new road name and Rural Village Development Projects, Inje county has been ready to accommodate the origin and place name related with Kimbu the great king at any time. Second, the meaning of the variation in place name's origin was studied. the place name showed the most variation between 1980 and 2000. The literature that is written were published by Buan Kim's family, Lee Taedu and Inje-gun. Kim's family was glad to find the traces of ancestors, and Lee Taedu became sure about place name by finding Kimbu tower. Villagers are proud to have a great man in town. Third, Inje will take advantage related to place name to build a great Inje with Kimbu the great king’s patriotic activities for Silla even after its destruction.
