초록

이 논문은 1991년 김학순의 증언 이전, 특히 냉전이 한창인 1960년대와 1970년대의 일본군 ‘위안부’ 서사의 양상에 대해서 논한다. 일본군 ‘위안부’의 존재가 언급조차 잘 되지않았던 시기, 일본군 ‘위안부’의 모습은 서사 속에서 잠깐잠깐 그 모습을 드러낸다. 단말마적인 일본군 ‘위안부’ 서사의 존재나 서사 속에서 분유하다 사라져 버리는 일본군 ‘위안부’ 의 재현은 한국사회 속에서 생존해 왔던 일본군 ‘위안부’의 고립과 단절을 증거하고 있다.
이 시기 일본군 ‘위안부’의 서사가 단절적이라고 하는 것은 소설 속에서 일본군 ‘위안부’ 의 서사가 일본군 ‘위안부’가 되기 전과 위안소에서의 경험, 그리고 해방 이후의 삶이 제각각 분절적으로 서사화 되기 때문이다. 이 글에서는 김정한과 하근찬의 소설들을 통해 살펴보는데 이러한 서사적 장면이 이후 일본군 ‘위안부’ 서사의 전형으로서 활용된다.
일본군 ‘위안부’ 서사가 완결된 이야기로서 등장하는 것은 70년대 후반의 『여명의 눈동자』와 『에미 이름은 조센삐였다』였다. 이 글에서는 1960년대부터 1970년대를 거쳐 1980년대에 이르는 냉전서사로서 일본군 ‘위안부’ 서사가 전형적인 형태를 갖추게 되기까지의 과정을 살펴본다.

This article attempts to discuss the aspects of the Japanese military 'comfort women' narrative before Kim Hak-soon's testimony in 1991, especially in the 1960s and 1970s during the Cold War. At a time when the existence of the Japanese military "comfort women" was not well mentioned, the appearance of the Japanese military "comfort women" reveals itself for a moment in the narrative. The existence of the narrative of the Japanese military 'comfort women', which is unsoundingly, or the representation of the 'comfort women' of the Japanese military, which disappears after formulating in the narrative, testifies to the isolation and disconnection of the Japanese military 'comfort women' who have survived in Korean society.
The reason why the narrative of the Japanese military 'comfort women' in this period is cut off is that in the novel, the narrative of the Japanese military 'comfort women' before becoming the Japanese military 'comfort women', their experiences at comfort stations, and their lives after liberation are fragmented. In this article, we look at the novels of Kim Jong-han and Ha Geun-chan, and these narrative scenes are later used as the epitome of the Japanese military 'comfort women' narrative.
The Japanese military 'comfort women' narrative appeared as a full story in the late '70s "The Eyes of the Dawn" and "Mother's Name was Josenpi." In this article, we will look at the process from the 1960s to the 1970s to the 1980s, from the Cold War narrative to the Japanese military 'comfort women' narrative taking its typical form.
