데이비드 봄 양자론 ‘숨은변수이론’의 인문학적 검토 (Philosophical Inquiry into David Bohm’s Hidden Variable Theory in Quantum Theory from the Perspective of East Asian Original Thoughts)

초록

This paper mainly examines the relationship between David Bohm’s Hidden variable theory in Quantum Theory in 1952 and Original East Asian Thoughts such as Laozi, Zhuangzi, Chan Buddhism, and The Book of Change(老莊禪易). Through John Bell’s theorem in 1964 proved Bohm’s Hidden variable theory include Einstein’s hypothesis at least does not apply to in local area.
In this paper, we discuss the correlation between the two thoughts despite the difference in their origin or perspective. Bohm's hypothesis highlights the concepts of wholeness, implicate order, flunctuation, and flow. Original East Asian Thoughts are based on wholeness viewpoint, concept of flow, ambivalence, and duality. And Bohm’s and East Asian Thoughts are particularly similar in establishment of two world, i.e. concepts of visible world and invisible world. Bohm’s hidden variable theory also emphasize implicate or enfolded order which is contrasted with explicate or unfolded order. Bohm’s concepts of two orders are considerably analogous and similar in ①Laozi’s concepts of Kedao(可道) as a phenomenal world and Changdao(常道) as a potential world and their interactive mechanism. ②the concept of Yin(陰) and Yang(陽), wholeness and qualitative differentiation of Taiji(太極) in The Book of Change. ③ambivalence or duality between Zero(0) i.e. Nothing and Infinity in LaoZhuang’s(老庄) going together(兩行) with visible and invisible world.
Seen from above, we could conclude that all beings of 'exist-event' are the in·ist and ex·ist also in the Universe like as dark matter or dark energy. We could also say that the Ancient Chinese perspective in humanities could give intellectual and imaginal assistance to David Bohm’s quantum theory of Hidden variable hypothesis, especially in the field of quantum entanglement phenomena in non-local area.
