신명기역사가의 관점에서 본 다윗언약과 메시아 (The Davidic Covenant and the Messiah in the view of Deuteronomic Historian)

초록

구약신학의 발달은 구약을 독자적인 학문의 자리에 올려놓았다는 점에서는 매우 긍정적인 측면이다. 그러나 구약학이 학문적인 자리를 잡으면 잡을수록 신약과의 관련성을 차단하려고 하는 경향이 있어왔다.
이러한 시도는 구약을 하나의 종교학으로서 연구하려고 하는 자세로서매우 중요한 키워드를 놓치고 있다고 본다. 즉 구약과 신약의 구속사적(heils- geschichte) 통일성을 무시하는 것이다. 이렇게 되면 구약은 히브리인들의 역사와 신화를 기록한 책으로, 신약은 예수의 행적과 초대교회의 역사를 기록한 책으로 완전하게 분리된다. 그러므로 우리는 구약과 신약을 분리하려는 시도를 중지해야 한다.
다윗언약에 대한 신명기역사가의 해석은 이중적인 의미를 가지고 있다. 그 하나는 유대인 공동체가 그토록 기다리던 해방의 날에 대한 염원을 담고 있으며, 다른 하나는 구속사적인 완성으로서의 예수 그리스도를 통한 구속의 완성을 의미한다. 그러므로 역사적인 해석(historical interpretation)과 함께 구속사적인 해석을 해야 한다. 이와 같은 방법에의해서 이 논문은 진행될 것이다.
그 첫 번째 장에서는 다윗언약의 내용을 성서 본문에 근거하여 주해하였다. 즉 다윗과 그 후손, 예루살렘에 대한 축복, 그리고 원수들에대한 심판의 내용이 무엇인가에 대하여 본문에 충실하게 주해를 했다.
두 번째 장에서는 다윗언약의 의미에 대한 주석과 함께 다윗언약이궁극적으로 말하는 이중적인 의미는 바로 신약의 메시아이신 예수 그리스도임을 간략하게 서술했다. 그러나 이 논문의 한계는 신명기역사가가 다윗언약을 어떻게 다루고 있느냐를 나타내는 것임으로 신약에서예수를 통해서 그 언약이 어떻게 성취되었는가에 대해서는 언급하지않고 있다. 이 논문의 특성상 그 부분은 나의 관심사가 아니기 때문이다.
그리고 마지막으로 결론 및 구속사적 성서읽기를 위한 간단한 제언을 담고 있다. 신명기역사가는 비록 메시아 예수 그리스도에 대한 이미지를 직접적으로 담고 있지는 않지만 구속사는 예수에게로까지 이어짐을 알 수 있다. 이것이 구약성서의 해석을 통해서 우리가 얻을 최종적인 메시지이다.

영어초록

The development of old testament theology has been very positive in terms placing it on its own terms as an academic field of studies.However in the process as it secures a more independent academic position old testament studies has lost much relativity with new testament studies. This situation has resulted in old testament academics losing sight of the very important consideration of the study old testament as a study of religion.
Many old testament scholars tend to ignore the salvational historical(Heilsgeschichte) unity of old testament theology. They regard the Old testament as a book that records the history and mythology of Hebrews which must be treated separately from the New Testament containing the history of Jesus Christ and the early church. This separation of the old testament and the new testament studies must be addressed as it breaks the theological unity of the Christian faith.
Deuteronomic historian interpretations about the Davidic Covenant entertain dual points of perspective.One involves the anxious expectation and waiting of the jewish community for the day of the messiah, and other one views it as the completion of salvation through Jesus the Christ the real messiah. Therefore, we must attempt to appropriate both salvational with historical analysis(Historical interpretation) in our interpretations and studies.
This paper seeks to incorporate both approaches. The first chapter contains annotated contents of the Davidic covenant in the Biblical text with annotations on the benediction about David and the descendants,jerusalem, and judgments about enemies being provided.
In the second chapter the meaning of Davidic covenant and the ultimate meaning of Davidic covenant as fulfilled in Jesus who is the Messiah of new testament is discussed.However due to the particular focus of this paper detailed demonstration and explanations of how this Davidic Covenant was fulfilled in the New Testament through Jesus will not be addressed.
And finally, the concluding chapter offers some simple suggestions and advice for reading the bible from a salvational analytic perspective.
Although Deuteronomic historians do not make explicit references to the Messianic image of Jesus directly, salvational history does indicate strong allusions to Jesus. This is the final message that we get through Old Testaments analysis.
