휠체어트레드밀과 암에르고미터 프로토콜별 생리적 반응 비교 (Comparison of Physiological Responses by Wheelchair Treadmill and Arm Ergometer Protocol)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 암에르고미터 프로토콜과 휠체어트레드밀 프로토콜을 비교 분석하여 가장 생리적 반응이 높은 프로토콜을 제시하는데 있다. 연구 대상자는 Y 대학교 휠체어농구부 남자 선수 10명으로 구성되었다. 선행 연구된 암에르고미터 프로토콜 2가지, 휠체어트레드밀 프로토콜 2가지를 사용하여 최대운동부하검사를 무선배정으로 실시하였고, 심폐기능(최고산소섭취량, 최고심박수, 최고환기량), 운동지속시간, 무산소성역치 시점을 20초 구간으로 필터링하여 비교분석하였으며, 혈중젖산농도는 최대운동부하검사 직후, 회복기 2분, 4분, 6분을 비교 분석하였다. 4가지 프로토콜에 따른 심폐기능, 운동지속시간, 무산소성역치 시점 차이를 one-way RM(4) ANOVA로, 4가지 프로토콜별 혈중젖산농도와 측정시점에 따른 차이 분석을 two-way RM(4x4) ANOVA로 분석하였다(p＜.05). 분석된 자료를 통하여 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 운동단계별 속도(8km/h)는 고정하고 경사도(0.5%)가 일정하게 증가하는 휠체어트레드밀의 WA 프로토콜이 최고산소섭취량, 최고심박수, 최고환기량, 혈중젖산농도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 휠체어트레드밀의 WA 프로토콜이 가장 빨리 무산소성역치 시점에 도달하였으나, 이후 운동단계별 규칙적인 저강도 운동부하(0.5% 경사도 증가)로 검사의 조기 종료 없이 효과적으로 최고산소섭취량과 운동지속시간을 이끌어 낼 수 있었다. 셋째, 피험자의 트레이닝 정도 등에 따라 생리적 반응의 결과 값은 다소 차이가 나타났지만, 프로토콜별 특성에 따라 생리적 반응의 결과 값은 유사한 분포를 나타냈다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to present the maximal physiological responses protocol with a competitive analysis between the arm ergometer one and the wheelchair treadmill one.
Ten male wheelchair basketball players from the Y university performed the examinations for this study.
The maximal graded exercise testing were performed randomly using two arm ergometer protocols in a precedent study and two wheelchair treadmill protocols. The points of the cardio pulmonary function(maximal oxygen intake; maximal heart rate; and maximal breathing capacity); exercise duration; and anaerobic threshold were filtered every twenty second and analyzed competitively. Also, the blood lactate concentration were analyzed competitively at the points of the right after the maximal graded exercise testing; and an recovery time in two-minutes, four-minutes and six-minutes.
The one-way RM ANOVA was used for the analysis of the cardio pulmonary exercise duration; and anaerobic threshold with four protocols, and the two-way(4x4) RM ANOVA was used for the analysis of the blood lactate concentration(p<.05).
The results has been drawn out with the outcomes analyzed as follows:
Firstly, the highest values in the maximal oxygen intake, maximal heart rate, maximal breathing capacity and blood lactate concentration came from the WA protocol of the wheelchair treadmill with a fixed speed on the stage of exercise(8km/h) and with a steady rate of increase in the inclination.
Secondly, The WA protocol of the wheelchair treadmill reached at the anaerobic threshold point at the fastest, however, the regular low-intensity graded exercise tolerance(0.5% of increase in the inclination) on stage of exercise drew the maximal oxygen intake and exercise duration effectively without the early termination of the examinations.
Lastly, the measured values in the physiological response were somewhat different from subject to subject depending on the individual training level, however, the distribution of the measured values by subject were similar depending on the characteristics of each protocol.
