옥외 화훼장식물 유형별 이미지와 시각적 선호성 분석 (A Study on the Analysis of Visual Preference and Image for the Display Type of Outdoor Floral Sculpture)

초록

This study carried out characteristic and factor researches on the best plan pointing to the accomplishment of
popularized sculpture art space based on the analysis of visual preference of floral sculpture in urban outdoor spaces.
According to the characteristic research, floral sculpture could be classified in three types(flower beds, containers and
solid sculpture). It could help the grasping of idea of activating function with aesthetic change of urban spaces. The
results can be summarized as follows: It attempted the quality analysis of the image of floral sculpture. The 'natural',
'order' and the 'unification' appeared statistically highly. The 'clear' and 'beautiful' appeared lowly in the other side.
Factor research was executed for the quality analysis of floral sculpture, and the factors were extracted with 4 things.
The factors are 'the aesthetic', 'the order, 'the weight', 'the neighborhood'. It would be considered seriously as
psychological image or stability. The results which analyzed the visual preference, showed that the harmony with a
circumference landscape is important. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the aesthetic factor was higher than
any other factors like the case I. Generally it would be able to think that the factor which gave the biggest effect to the
floral sculpture was the aesthetic factor. This study found that a topic for the improvement of floral sculpture, design
development to increase the aesthetic degree was essential. The visual harmony between surrounding space and floral
sculpture was analyzed. The most work which attains a high visual harmony was the floral sculpture which is
produced in solid sculpture of case III. These works also selected from color, material, scale, shape and position and
when seeing the fact that, that the hazard which raises a completion degree the artificial flower which is the balance
which stands is necessary it will be able to analyze. It could be is able to analyze that for the improvement of completion
degree, like those works selected from the color, material, scale, shape and position, balanced harmony was demanded.
In a broad view, a multiple regression analysis for the floral sculpture research in urban spaces, 'the position' factor
was the most important factor, especially in the matter of visual preference. It was meant the importance of
surrounding, thus harmony with circumstance directly linked to the quality of works. For the achievement of sculpture
which it tried to observe from above, the production of making balanced city spaces was necessary. But it could be able
to infer from the research result, the users demanded the dramatic production expected from the solid sculpture. This result could be understood that the users wished more active life. In the outdoor spaces, the floral sculpture's role is
not only the indicator but also one of the public arts that made beautiful city. Also it was considered that not the least
things should be reformed.
