지역별 비교우위 스포츠산업 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Competitiveness Factors in Regional Sports Industry)

초록

본 연구는 스포츠 산업분류에 따른 다양한 지역별 스포츠산업 데이터를 종합하여 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 관련 선행 연구들 및 경제학자들의 산업 경쟁력과 관련된 이론을 통해 보다 효과적인 스포츠산업 육성을 위한 스포츠산업 비교우위 결정요인을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로서 먼저 문헌연구와 현장조사를 통한 스포츠산업 현황을 조사하였다. 현황조사는 지역 스포츠산업자원 및 정책현황으로 한정하여 진행하였다. 이후 이를 바탕으로 구체적인 지역별 상황을 이해하기 위해 스포츠산업에 관련된 전문가, 지역별 자치단체 공무원 등을 대상으로 대면조사를 실시하였다. 또한 지역 내 정책전문가와 산업 관련자들을 대상으로 설문조사가 추가적으로 실시되었다. 2차에 걸친 전문가 조사를 통해 최종적으로 지역별 비교우위 스포츠산업 결정요인을 도출 하였다. 이러한 연구절차를 바탕으로 지역별 스포츠산업 자원 및 매출규모현황, 지역별 스포츠산업관련 조직체계 및 정책현황을 파악하였으며 본 연구의 최종 목적인 지역별 비교우위 스포츠산업 결정요인을 도출하였다. 이상의 연구절차와 자료의 분석을 통하여 지역별 비교우위 스포츠산업 결정요인은 다섯 가지로 도출되었다. 첫째, ‘인적자원집중도’, 둘째, ‘지역산업체 비중’, 셋째, ‘시장점유비중’, 넷째, ‘지역파급효과’, 다섯째, ‘노동생산성’으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 앞으로 지방자치단체가 우수한 인력의 확보 유무에 의해 그것이 지역 산업의 경쟁력이 결정될 수 있음을 나타내며, 제조업과 관련된 스포츠 산업에 있어서는 산업의 집적도, 집중도가 그 지역의 경쟁력을 상승시키는데 있어 상당히 중요한 요인임이 밝혀진 것으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 시장규모 즉 시장의 점유비중 역시 스포츠산업에 있어서도 규모의 경제를 통한 생산성 증가뿐만 아니라 이윤의 증가를 가져오는 요인이며, 지역 특성에 입각한 인적자원개발과 그러한 인적자원을 통한 생산성 높은 인력의 창출이 지역 스포츠 산업의 비교우위를 달성하기 위한 핵심요인으로 밝혀졌다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to draw a determining factor of comparative advantage for effective cultivation of regional sports industry. This study is also based on those theories related to industrial competitiveness of economists or advanced researches. this theories are based on the analysis of regional sports industrial data according to sports industrial classification. First of all, current conditions have been searched through literature research and field investigation. the research for the current conditions has been limited to the current policy conditions and industrial resources for sports. In order to understand the specific regional situation, a face-to-face interviews for those experts related to sports industry and government employees from regional autonomous community. An additional interviews which are targeted to policy experts and people related to this industry have been conducted. Determining factors of sports industry for regional comparative advantage have been drew after expert's investigations for 2 times. Regional sports industrial resources and current sales scale, structure system for sports industry and current condition for the policies have been figured out through this study procedures. And we have drawn those decisive factors for regional comparative advantage for sports industry which is the ultimate reason for this study. We have drawn the five determining factors for regional comparative advantage for sports industry through above study procedures and the analysis of the data. Firstly, 'concentrativeness for human resources'. Secondly, 'weight for regional industry', Thirdly, 'weight for market share', Fourth, 'market ripple effect', Fifth, 'labor productivity'. This result shows that whether a local autonomous entity secure superior man power is able to decide its regional industrial competitiveness. and it has turned out that in terms of those sports industry related to manufacture, degree of integration and concentrativeness for industries are playing a crucial role for improving a local competitiveness. Also, market scale, that is to say occupied density, is considered to be the one of main factors that bring not just profit but also high productivity through economic of scale. it turned out that creating manpower which has a high productivity through developing human resources based on regional characteristic factors is the main factor for achieving comparative advantage for regional sports industry.
