지역축제 소재별 포스터 표현방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Plan to Express Poster by Materials of Local Festivals)

초록

본 연구는 지역축제 소재별 포스터의 표현요소 연구를 통해 잠재된 관광객을 유인할 수 있는 표현방안에 대해 제시하고자 한다.
이를 위해 지역축제를 소재별로 분류한 후 두 가지의 표현요소로 분석하였다. 가치기준에 따른 표현요소는 최근 축제포스터 사례를 통해 분석하였고 체험동기에 따른 표현요소는 설문을 통해 분석하였다.
분석결과, 지역축제 소재별 포스터의 문제점과 표현방안에 대해 제시하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 생태자연축제 포스터는 조형성,기능성,공유성,체험성이 높은 반면 상징성의 표현이 부족하다. 상징요소를 개성 있게 표현하고 관광객을 유도하기 위해서는 시각체험 위주로 표현해야한다.
둘째, 문화예술축제 포스터는 공유성,기능성은 높고 조형성,상징성,체험성이 부족하다. 가독성을 높이고 상징성은 독창적으로 표현하고 여가체험 위주로 표현해야한다.
셋째, 전통역사민속축제 포스터는 조형성,기능성을 제외한 상징성,공유성,체험성이 낮다. 이해가 쉽고 명확한 상징과 주제로 표현하고 지식체험 위주로 표현해야한다.
넷째, 지역특산물축제 포스터는 조형성,상징성,기능성은 높고 공유성,체험성은 낮다. 축제주제의 전달력을 높이고 지식체험을 위주로 표현해야한다.
다섯째, 경연산업스포츠축제 포스터는 기능성을 제외하고 모두 낮다. 구성요소간의 조화, 상징 표현의 개발, 축제주제의 의미 표현, 교류체험 위주로 표현해야한다.
이 연구를 통해 지역축제 포스터를 제작하는데 실무적인 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

영어초록

This study aims to suggest expression methods to attract potential tourists by analyzing expression elements of different-themed posters for local festivals. For achieving this purpose, local festivals were divided depending on themes and two representative expression elements were analyzed. The value-based expression element was analyzed, based on the cases of the recent festival posters, and the experience motivation-based expression element was analyzed, based on a survey.
The problems of different-themed posters for local festivals and suggestions for expression methods are as follows.
First, posters for ecological and nature festivals had high formativeness, functionality, commonality, and experientiality, but lacked symbolism. For expressing characterful symbolic components and attracting tourists, visual experience-oriented expression is necessary.
Second, posters for cultural art festivals had high commonality and functionality, but lacked formativeness, symbolism and experientiality. Therefore, there is a need to improve readability, express symbolism creatively and focus on leisure experience-oriented expression.
Third, posters for traditional, historical and folk festivals lacked symbolism, commonality and experientality, except for formativeness and functionality. Therefore, there is a need to express symbols and themes which are easy to understand and focus on knowledge experience-oriented expression.
Fourth, posters for regional speciality festivals had high formativeness, symbolism and functionality, but lacked commonality and experientality. Therefore, there is a need to improve communicability of festival themes and focus on knowledge experience-oriented expression.
Fifth, posters for contest, industrial and sports festivals lacked all the components, except for functionality. Therefore, there is a need to harmonize components, develop symbolic expressions, express meanings of festival themes and focus on exchange experience-oriented expression.
In conclusion, it is anticipated that this research would make a practical contribution to designing posters for local festivals.
