초록

When I find what Lee Chung-Jun is evaluated best in examinable his literary fruits, I can mention that he is the author to try to lift up the literature in this land to the intellectual level. He was the generation who had experienced 4․19 and 5․16. It is remarkable that he lived the young period during the situation of the remarkable that he lived the young period during the situation of the political agitation period and the social confusion. This fact is not unrelated that in his works the anguish are appeared as the main theme and Lee Chung-jun also is the author who has as a obvious consciousness as express his novel theory by means of the form of novel. His work is evaluated to evoke the tight intensiveness to readers the structural planning and preciseness, having the basic pattern of the mode of a frame and the techniques of the detective novel. His literature character is soon grafted on his literary fruit, and the object of this study is to appoach these characters in structural way. The time of the wall of rumor is equalized honest restraint of self-statement that is going through two characters with making time of <I> and <Park, Jun> overlap each other. Especially, three parts of novel, that meet the past of <park, Jun> and the present of <I> is universalized a theme consciousness layer ally. And the author also say whatever any novelist has his own novel view and that of such novelist often present through his work as a writer's life. Works of Lee Chung-Jun is especially placed a strong tendency on later like this. The work of The wall of rumor in 1970's shows realization and the difficulty of writing novel with the text that has three the parts of narration in novel. And is shows the consciousness of the author through the article of interview. The result of this study is as following. Lee Chung-Jun don't resolve the original problem of human and society. In that way his world view is exposed the limit which can be called a cynical pessimism. I came to begin the study of his work with the unavoidable limit by the existence of the author before the main object mentioned above. I make a point to the limit that there is the literary elements which is easy to overlook through the structural analysis. The problem awaiting sollution forward is what enlighten the whole picture as I analyze many works published and publishing systematically.
