한국어능력시험 쓰기 영역 54번 문항 답안 작성 방안 연구 : 글의 구성 방식을 중심으로 (A Study on How to Write Answers to Question 54 in the Writing Section of TOPIK II : Focusing on the Method of Text Organization)

초록

이 연구의 목적은 토픽 Ⅱ 쓰기 영역 54번 문항의 작문형 글쓰기에서 모범 답안의 기본 구조인 미괄식 글쓰기 구조 이외 다른 유용한 글쓰기 모형은 없는지를 살펴보고 답안 작성의 개선 방안을 탐색해보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 공개된 기출 문제 유형과 모범답안의 전개 구조를 분석하고 본고에서 제시한 글쓰기 구조에 맞춰 모범 답안을 재구성한 뒤 이에 대한 한국어 교육과 글쓰기 교육 전문가 등 3개 전문가 그룹의 견해를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 내용을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 54번 문제 글쓰기는 미괄식 전개 구조와 양괄식 전개 구조 등 두 가지 유형의 주장하는 글쓰기를 요구하고 있었다. 둘째, 54번 문제의 공개된 모범 답안을 분석한 결과 답안 작성은 대부분 ‘도입-전개-마무리’라는 논설문 형식의 미괄식 구조를 사용하였다. 셋째, 54번 문항의 답안 작성에 혼합형(역피라미드형+피라미드형의 양괄식) 글쓰기 전개 구조도 유용하다는 사실을 확인하였다. 넷째, 혼합형 글쓰기 모형에 모범 답안을 대입시켜 재구성한 뒤 채점기준에 근거하여 비교 평가한 결과, 모범 답안보다 논리적 구성이 뛰어나 읽기가 쉽고중심 생각 파악이 용이하다는 등의 유의미한 평가를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 54번 문항의 답안 작성에 양괄식 구조의 글쓰기 방안을 처음으로 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가있으며, 이는 앞으로 54번 문항 답안 작성과 관련, 글의 구성 방식을 개선하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine whether there is any useful writing model other than the inductive writing structure, which is the basic structure of the model answer disclosed in the answer to question 54 of the TOPIK II writing section, and to explore ways to improve answer writing. For this, after analyzing the open question types and the development structure of the model answers, the model answers were reconstructed according to the writing structure presented in this paper, and the views of three expert groups, including experts in Korean language education and writing education, were examined. As a result, it was possible to confirm the following contents. First, the writing in question 54 required two types of argumentative writing: inductive development structure and mixed development structure which contains both deductive and inductive structures. Second, as a result of analyzing the publicly available model answers to question 54, most of the answers were written in the inductive structure, which is the form of an editorial, 'Introduction-Body-Conclusion'. Third, it was confirmed that the mixed type (inverted pyramid type + pyramid type) writing development structure is also useful in writing the answer to question 54. Fourth, as a result of comparative evaluation based on the scoring criteria after reconstructing the model answer by substituting the model answer into the mixed writing model, it was confirmed that the logical structure was superior to that of the model answer, making it easier to read and understand the central idea. This study is significant in that it is the first time to propose a writing method with mixed structure which includes deductive and inductive structures for writing the answer to question 54, and this will help improve the way of organizing a paragraph related to writing of the answer to question 54 in the future.
