사이버 대학교 미용학과 강의운영 만족도 및 교육과정 개선 방안 연구 (A Study of Satisfaction in the Lectur e Course at Beauty Department of Cyber University and Its Curri culum Improvement Plan)

초록

For the classification of satisfaction with the lecture course in beauty department of cyber university and its curriculum improvement. Researches were conducted out a survey for 200 cyber university students with respect to the following items from Sep 1 2009 to Mar 30 2010. Propensity of student respondents and preparation capability to take their course work. Level of satisfaction on lectures of beauty department for cyber university, The perception and dissatisfaction of lecture progress and material, and improvement in academic courses of beauty department at cyber university. Survey was conducted for 193 students, excepting 7 (among 200 initial respondents) who showed insufficient answers to the survey questions or failed to hand in the survey questionnaire. As a result, “Course progress” got the best satisfaction score with course operation of beauty department in the cyber university. Particularly, juniors showed the highest satisfaction by the grade; transfer students for “satisfaction with course system” and “satisfaction with school operation” and existing students who entered regular course for “satisfaction with course progress”. Dissatisfaction with the course progress method in beauty department of the cyber university turned out to mainly come from “boredom of monotonous course progress method” and followings are surveyed results as an order of importance; “indiscriminate course progress not considering the level of learners”, dissatisfaction with curriculum, “course progress not considering students' prior experience and knowledge” and “insufficient presentation of main contents and case”. For the improvement of the curriculum of beauty department of the cyber university, “advanced major” factor was rated requiring urgent improvement. Especially, it turned out that juniors and seniors requested the improvement of “advanced major” much, and that transfer students requested the improvement of “advanced major” factor and “increase of liberal arts”. Improvement plan according to survey of satisfaction of school operating process of beauty department examined through this study. It expected to be used as basic data to prepare a plan for realistic characterization of the curriculum of beauty department in the cyber university.
