초록

This study is based on the field investigation of fishermen’s Song in Gageo island. The fishermen’s Song of the anchovy fishing in Gageo island has been logically proved songs based on marine ecology, ecology of the anchovy, and fishing in Gageo Island.
The reason of the development of rowing sound is sailing to a distance with rowing. The sound to chase the anchovy is to induce a school of anchovies into coastal valley. That sound is used when a school of anchovies under water is induced by threatening shout and fire, includes ecstasies, and is fierce sound with sea hunters’ character because a school of anchovy becomes frantic and soars when boating companions get wild.
The boat-turning sound is slow rowing one, but there are fishermen’s pride and triumph over nature in Kaku island as sea hunters. It also includes showing off the feeing of their existence to external world.
The aerial sepulture sound borrowed from the sound of offering a sacrifice to spirits in fishing boats draws joys of ship filled with fishes into the space of their village as sea hunters, and has internal meaning of religious thanks.
The structure of the fishermen’s Song of the anchovy fishing in Gageo island is <going out fishing⇒operation⇒recurrence> in order, <the sea⇒coastal valley⇒village> from a spatial view, and <movement⇒capture⇒thanks> from a functional aspect.
