초록

This paper translates and contemplates the two poems of Li Bai(李白). The first poem was written by Li Bai to complain of his injustice. This poem is very long and it can be divided into five paragraphs. In the first paragraph, he laments over false accusations instead of being selected for a position even though he intended to rescue the world. In the second paragraph, he strongly explains that he is an innocent victim, likening himself to a white jade. In the third paragraph, he hopes that people would know he was entrapped, never surrendering. In the fourth paragraph, he mentions that the historical facts that a woman led the country to collapse, pointing out that the woman may still cause this country to get into confusion. In the last paragraph, he hopes to recognize his faithful mind, even though he, who has talents, has not been selected for a position.
The second poem was given to the then hermit Can Liaozi(參寥子), praising him. This poem can be divided into three paragraphs. The first paragraph describes the emperor in the Tang Dynasty ordering the hermit Can Liaozi to enter the Palace by issuing a royal message. The second paragraph praises that Can Liaozi entered the palace, received gifts from the emperor, and produced writings that would remain for a long time. The third paragraph expresses his will to live like Can Liaozi mentioning the dignity of Can Liaozi who left the palace and retired to hermitage in spite of such achievements.
