예배에 있어서 사도신앙고백이 한국교회 신학과 신앙고백에 끼친 영향 (The Influence to Theology and Confession of Korean Church from Apostoles' Creed in Worship)

초록

사도신앙고백이 단번에 형성된 것이 아니고 예배 속에서 교부들이 고백한 신앙고백들을 주후 750년 피르미니우스가 만든 것을 서방교회가 최종 채택한 것이다. 그러한 영향으로 역사발전과 함께 기독교신학이 형성되었으며 그 신학은 오늘 한국교회에 영향을 끼친 루터와 칼빈, 그리고 칼 바르트신학을 형성하게 된 것이다. 그러한 영향으로 한국교회는 믿음과 생활규범으로서 신앙고백서를 만들어 교단을 형성하였으며, 오늘날 한국교회에 많은 영향을 주었다. 그러나 그것으로부터 파생된 신학적 문제로 많은 교단들이 생겨나고 똑 같은 주님을 믿으면서 혼돈을 야기하고 사회적 갈등까지 나타내고 있는 것이다. 그렇다면 예배에서 사도신앙고백을 외우고 고백하는 이유는 무엇일까? 2천년전의 사도들의 신앙고백이 오늘 우리들과 무슨 상관이 있는 것인가? 사도신앙고백이 한국교회 신학과 신앙고백에 끼친 문제점은 무엇이며, 그 해결책은 무엇인가?
먼저 우리의 자주적인 신앙고백이 새롭게 자리 잡아 고백되어져야 교회갱신의 역사가 전개되리라고 생각한다. 왜냐하면 우리나라 대표적인 교단들이 외국의 신앙고백들을 줄이고 덧붙이고 달리 강조할 뿐 우리 민족신앙의 고백이 없다는 것이다.
둘째로 신앙고백을 통한 새로운 신학정립을 수립해야 된다고 생각한다. 특히 장로교회의 두교단 예장과 기장은 둘다 칼빈주의를 내세우면서도 분열하고 있다. 그 분열의 문제는 신학적 해석의 차이이지 신앙고백의 차이는 아니다. 왜냐하면 둘 다 예배 속에서 사도신경을 고백하고 실천하고 있기 때문이다. 그러기 때문에 도전해 오는 역사적 질문들에 대한 신학적 답변을 내놓고 그리스도의 구원에 맞추어 나가기 위해서 새롭게 신학적 해석을 해야 하고 통일 민족신학의 정립을 수립해야 한다.
마지막으로 한국교회 신앙고백은 대개가 이상적이고, 비실천적이다. 그래서 신앙고백은 신앙과 행위가 하나의 규범인 동시에 생활론이다. 그래서 신학적 해석의 제약을 받을 수 없는 것이다. 즉 행위는 신학의 대상은 될 수 있어도 신학의 평가나 제약을 받을 수는 없는 것이다. 그래서 신앙고백의 생활론을 강조해야하고, 신자의 교회생활과 성결한 도덕적 삶을 성화로 승화시키는 의인화를 이룩하는 것은 정통 장로교회의 근본적 교리에 어긋남이 없는 것이다.

영어초록

Confession was not the one that was formed at a stretch but the one that the West End church adopted. The West End church mirrored the confessions already made in the worship, which Pirminius formed it in the weeks after 750 years. Such effects had the Christian theology formed along with the historical development. And the formed theology has contributed in South Korea to the theology influenced by Luther, Calvin, and Karl Barth until now. Thanks to such influence, denominations were formed on the basis of confession of faith and norm of life in the Korean churches. And this has had a significant influence on the Korean churches. However the theoretical issues, for example, continuous emergence in chaos of the churches believing the same Lord derived from it and have caused even the social conflicts. Viewing these, why do we recite and confess the faith of the apostles? Is there any relationship between the Apostle's Confession of Faith of 2000 years ago and that of today? What are the issues of the Apostle's Confession of Faith affecting the Korean church theology and Confession of Faith and what is solution?
First, I think that undated history of the church will deploy on the condition that new independent confessions of ours get a new position. It is because the representative denominations in Korea just append, reduce, or emphasize the other leading countries' confessions without doing in our national belief.
Secondly, I think a new theoretical formulation should be established through the confession of faith. The two denominations in Presbyterian church seem to be divided even though they follow the Calvin's principle. The problem of division is not the difference in Confession of Faith but in the theological interpretation. It is because both of them in Presbyterian church confess the Apostles' Creed in worship and keep that in life. Therefore, a new theoretical interpretation and formulation of national unification should be established in order to make theological answers to the challenging and historical questions and match the answers to the salvation of Christ.
Finally, Confession of Faith in Korean churches is on the whole rather idealistic and non-realistic. Confession of faith is the theory of life as well as the norm in belief and conduct. So theological interpretation would not be constrained. That action could be the target of the theology of a theological evaluation and will not be able to receive constraint. So, life theory of Confession of Faith must be emphasized, and the moral, holy and pure church life of believers need to be turned into for personalization. Then fundamental doctrine of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church is not on the discrepancy.
