국립아시아문화전당의 콘텐츠 구축방안: 「국립아시아문화전당 콘텐츠 종합계획」의 분석을 중심으로 (A study on the establishment of contents of Asian Culture Complex focused on “the Comprehensive Contents Plans”)

초록

본 연구는 2015년 개관을 앞두고 있는 국립아시아문화전당의 콘텐츠의 구축방안에 대한 연구이다. 아시아문화개발원이 2013년 4월 2일 공개한 「국립아시아문화전당 콘텐츠 종합계획」은 융·복합 지식 창출의 콘텐츠를 다루고 있어 새로운 트렌드를 반영하고 있다. 하지만 지금의 콘텐츠 종합계획은 구체적인 콘텐츠 확보의 밑그림과 방향제시에 그치고 있어 수정과 보완이 필요하다. 현재의 전당 콘텐츠 종합계획은 다음과 같은 문제점을 노정하고 있다. 그 문제점은 콘텐츠의 ‘구체성 부재’와 ‘가시성 부재’, 그리고 콘텐츠의 ‘난해성’으로 요약될 수 있다.
‘구체성’의 부재는 콘텐츠 종합계획이 담고 있는 콘텐츠가 세부 콘텐츠를 담을 그릇과 방향으로 제시되었을 뿐, 이 그릇에 담길 구체적인 콘텐츠는 구체적으로 제시되지 않고 있는 데에서 유래한다. 콘텐츠의 난해함으로 지적되는 부분은 전당의 콘텐츠가 지식 특히 융·복합의 지식 문제를 다루고 있기 때문이다. ‘가시성’의 부재는 전당의 콘텐츠가 ‘결과로서의 콘텐츠’가 아니라 지식의 융·복합이 이루어지는 ‘과정의 콘텐츠’이기 때문이다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점의 분석을 토대로 지금의 종합계획의 수정과 보완의 방향을 제시하고 더 나아가 콘텐츠의 구축방안을 제시했다. 현재까지 「국립아시아문화전당 콘텐츠 종합계획」에 대한 선행 연구가 나오지 않는 상황에서 본 연구는 후속 연구의 기초 자료가 되기를 기대한다.

영어초록

Through the analysis of “the Comprehensive Contents Plans” (hereinafter referred as CCP) published by IACD on April 2, 2013, the primary purpose of this study is to investigate the problems that could be found in the establishment of unique and universal culture contents of the Asian Culture Complex (hereinafter referred as ACC) by providing alternatives on how to correct and supplement culture contents in a creative way.
When we compared the analysis of CCP of ACC, focused on the period 2011 and 2013, we could find that the role of ACC and its contents has been changed based on the analysis of Comprehensive Contents Plans of ACC.
Until 2011, ACC as a shared space for Asian culture and arts has been designated as the power-generator of Asian culture and arts, focusing on the contents introduced from the Asian culture and arts divided by major five areas. While in 2013, the motto of ACC has been changed into “Savage Garden of Knowledge”, and it s vision and value has been set up as in Space of cultural creatives, connecting the world to create contents through the creative collective intelligence.
The very problem of the ACC from the analysis of CCP can be summarized into the lack of contents’ concreteness and difficulties to understand it. The current version of CCP is just a container to hold contents and merely a direction with no concreteness. Thus it can be concluded there is no concrete CCP in this version.
A difficulty to understand is derived from the fact that CCP includes the formation of creative collective intelligence. Thus it is necessary to establish concrete contents plan based on the amendments and revisions of CCP.
The primary task in the course of amending and supplementing contents is to secure operating personnel. Since the sub-projects are just a matter of container to hold contents, so it is necessary to recruit project managers who can control and operate contents in the container.
The secondary task is to secure popularity. As an alternative to this task, the artistic sensitivity should be included based on the knowledge.
The third task is who will be the main agent to fill those contents. It will help us escape from culture hegemonies by deviating from Gwangju-localism and Korean-centered mind.
The last task is how we fill the contents. The methodology “how” can be achieved through exchange among Asian countries to fill the proper and creative contents in ACC. Since higher quality contents can attract audiences including culture creator and its enjoying person, we have to consider the possibility of implementation in preparing for creative contents construction.
