치유 관점에서 발도르프학교 교실 색채 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Color Characteristics Applied to Waldorf School Classroom in Healing Views)

초록

인간의 성장과정에서 매우 중요한 치유는 심리적 조화에 의한 회복과 유지를 의미하며 역사적으로 치유 측면에서 교육 환경에 실질적으로 적용한 사람이 루돌프 슈타이너이다. 슈타이너는 인지학을 기반으로 색채원리를 발도르프학교 교실에 적용하여 전인적 교육공간을 제시하였다. 그러나 오늘날 슈타이너의 교육적 색채 원리가 명확히 정립되지 않았으며 또한 객관적인 컬러 시스템을 통하여 연구가 진행되지 않아 교육적 색채에 대한 정립이 필요하므로다. 본 연구에는 슈타이너의 치유적 색채원리가 적용된 발도르프학교 교실 색채에 대한 답사 및 색채 분석을 통하여 슈타이너의 색채원리를 정립하는데 목적이 있다.
슈타이너의 인간 발달에 관련된 이론적 문헌연구와 색채가 실질적으로 적용된 발도르프학교를 대상으로 하여 답사 및 현장 측색 연구를 통하여 NCS를 이용하여 분석하였다. 또한 슈타이너의 인지학 개념과 12감각론과 인간발달 단계에 대하여 고찰하고 색채원리가 적용된 발도르프학교 교실색채를 색채코드와 색채 팔레트를 도출하여 색채 요소인 색상 및 명도, 채도, 뉘앙스(Nuance)를 중심으로 분석하여 슈타이너의 색채 조화 원리에 대하여 특성을 종합하였다.
본 연구를 통해 발도르프학교 교실 색채의 특성은 Blackness(흑색도)는 5에서 30 범위의 분포를 보였고 Chromaticness(순색도)범위는 20에서 70의 분포 특성이 있는 것으로 분석되었으며 또한 색채 조화 원리 특성에 있어서는 두 가지 이상의 색채가 사용될 때 나타나는 효과인 색채 조화에 있어서는 동일색채에 의한 조화가 있었다. 이와 같은 사실은 공간 시지각 측면에서 혼란을 적게 하고 학습에 집중력을 극대화하는 의미에서 인접색의 조화를 사용하였다는 결과를 연구를 통해 할 수 있었다.
이와 같은 연구를 통하여 인지학을 기초로 하여 색채이론을 수립한슈타이너의 색채론은 영유아기에 있어서 매우 중요하며 사회적 요소인 및 과학적 내용이 적용된 색채이론이다.

영어초록

Healing, which is very important in the human growth process, means recovery and maintenance by psychological harmony. Historically, the person who practically adopted healing to education environment was Rudolf Steiner, who applied color principles to the Waldorf school classroom based on anthroposophy and presented whole people education space. However, today, Steiner's education color principle is not clearly established, or researches through objective color systems haven't been done. Therefore, the establishment of educational colors is necessary, so this study is intended to establish Steiner's education color principle by investigating Waldorf school classroom colors, which Steiner's healing color principle is applied to, and by analyzing the colors.
By doing theoretical documentary research related to Steiner's human development and by investigating Waldorf school with the colors actually applied, along with field colorimetric research, we analyzed it using NSC, charcteristics. In addition, we studied the concept of Steiner's anthroposophy and his 12 sensationalism and human development stages, drew color codes and color palette from valdorf school classroom colors with color principle applied, analyzed colors, brightness, chroma and nuance, and synthesized the charcteristics of Steiner's color harmony principle.
This study showed that regarding the characteristics of Waldorf school classroom colors, the range of Blackness is between 5 and 30, and Chromaticness is between 20 and 70, which is the effect appearing when more than two colors are used, showed same color harmony in Waldorf school classroom, which implies adjacent color harmony was used to reduce confusion and to maximize learning concentration from the space visual perception.
The color principle of Rudolf Steiner, who established chromatics based on anthroposophy, indicates that because mental development is not completed during the infant stage, surrounding environment should be applied ethically, physically and mentally, and colors stimulating imagination are applied. The characteristics of case of Waldorf school classroom involve red features that maintain balance of inside and outside per each age and grade, yellow features that radiate from inside to outside, green features that project living creatures and blue features that radiate from outside to inside.
