문화예술교육에 대한 미학적 소고 - 미적감수성의 의미탐색을 중심으로 (Aesthetic Thought about culture and arts education)

초록

기술의 발전은 전 세계를 하나의 망으로 묶었다. 우리는 지구적 네트워크 환경이 강화된 환경에 살게 되면서 낯설고 모호한 상황에 자주 처하게 되고, 곳곳에서 갈등을 겪고 있다. 세상과의 연결이 일상화됨에 따라 상호의존성이 높아지고, 상호협력을 통한 문제해결 능력이 강조되는 현실은 우리에게 감수성의 문제를 던져준다.
이러한 복잡하고 급변하는 미래 상황은 전통사회에서 요구되던 지식 교육과 인간상의 전환을 요청하고 있으며, 그 대안으로써 ‘예술을 통한 교육’이 강조되고 있다. 그 이유는 ‘예술의 창작과정은 문제의 발견과 자신과 세계에 대한 이해, 자기 위로와 존중 등, 타인(세계)과의 소통과 협업 능력을 체득할 수 있기 때문에 불확실한 상황에 대한 대처 능력을 제고할 수 있다는 것’이다. 이로써 문화예술교육은 기능교육에 갇혀있던 ‘예술을 위한 교육’의 오랜 관행을 뛰어넘으려 한다. 그러나 예술 외부에서 예술에 대한 필요성은 크게 요청되지만, 정작 예술 내부의 변화로부터 도출되는 문화예술교육에 대한 연구는 부족한 편이다.
본 연구는 급변환경을 반영한 문화예술교육의 배경을 예술변화와 미학이론의 변화를 통해 짚어보고, 여기서 추출된 내용을 기반으로 문화예술교육의 지향과 네트워크 환경이 강화된 현실에서 오늘날 문화예술교육의 목표로 제시되는 창의성과 감수성, 미적감수성의 함의를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구의 결과는 전통적인 예술교육으로는 예술 영역의 변화와 미학이론 발전을 담을 수 없으며, 인간 삶의 요구로서 ‘지각적 미학’의 요청은 네트워크 시대 문화예술교육에 있어 감수성의 강조를 튼튼히 받쳐줌을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 최근의 지각적 미학으로 미학을 재구성하자는 연구는 예술미를 중심으로 한 근대미학의 미 개념을 넘어, 세계를 강렬하고 충만하게 만나는 과정을 촉발할 것이고, 이때의 미적감수성은 전인간교육의 계기가 될 것이라고 본다.

영어초록

Advances in technology, tied the whole world in a single network. We often become in unfamiliar and ambiguous situation by living in an environment where global network environment has been strengthened, and here and there to experience the conflict. With the connection of the world everyday, it grows mutual dependency and reality problem-solving skills through mutual cooperation has been emphasized casts the sensitivity of the issue to us.
These complex and rapidly changing future of the situation has requested the education of knowledge required in the traditional society and the conversion of humans beings and 'Education through Arts' has been emphasized as an alternative. The reason is why creative process of artistic is possible to improve ability to react of the uncertain situation because it can get the communication and collaboration capabilities with others (of the world) such as discovery of problems, understanding of themselves and the world, respect and self-comfort. As a result, the culture and arts education are going to cross jump the long-standing practice of 'Education for the Arts,' which had been confined to the functional education. However, the need for arts is requested from the outside, but actually research of culture and arts education is those who are missing derived from the interior of the change.
In this study, we explore the background of culture and arts education that reflects the rapid change environment through the change of artistic and aesthetics theory and, based on the content that has been extracted here, take a look at the implications of creativity, sensitivity and aesthetic sensitivity which is presented today as a goal of culture and arts education in reality culture and arts education has been oriented and network environment has been enhanced. The results of the study said that the traditional art education is not possible to capture the change of art area and development of aesthetic theory, and request of perceptual aesthetics as the needs of human life was able to find a firm support zoom emphasis of sensitivity in culture and arts education of the network era. Finally, research that attempts to reconstitute the aesthetics as ‘perceptual aesthetics’ in recent touch off strong and pervasively meeting process over the concept of beauty of modern aesthetics, at this time, I think, aesthetic sensitivity will be in the trigger of all human education.
