초록

테오도어 비젠그룬트 아도르노는 객체우위 미메시스 경험과 그것을 합리적으로 구제하는 미적 형식을 통하여 예술작품의 사회비판적 가능성과 그 지평을 모색한다. 아도르노에게 철학과 미학 그리고 사회학은 이러한 미메시스 경험과 합리성 개념에 의해 서로 긴밀하게 매개됨으로써 이론적이면서 동시에 사회 실천적인 방법론을 제공한다. 이 논문은 아도르노의 미메시스 개념과 음악미학에 관한 분석을 통하여 그의 사회 실천적 방법론이 무엇인지 밝히고, 그것이 오늘날 정치적 실천에 관한 문제들을 해결하는데 어떠한 기여를 할 수 있을지 고찰해보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 따라서 이 논문은 첫째, 아도르노의 사회학적 저술들을 통하여 합리적인 행위자의 행위가 과연 합리적인지 검토해볼 것이며, 둘째, 아도르노의 음악미학을 분석하면서 그의 미메시스적 실천방법이 사회로부터 소외받는 사람들의 고통을 공론화하는데 유용한 방법론인지 확인할 것이며, 마지막으로 그와 같은 아도르노의 실천방법이 오늘날 사회정의에 관한 정치철학적 논쟁들 속에서 어떠한 위상을 가질 수 있을지 모색해볼 것이다.

영어초록

The writter thinks that in these days many arguments with a political practice are proceed in two ways. One is a way that rational persons agree to consist of a rational and valid norm, the other is a way that people thoroughly raise a question about a democratic political practice by publicizing various distress of neglected people. The writter thinks that the method of a political practice in Adorno's thought is belong to the latter. Because doubting that a perform of a rational performer is really rational, Adorno is accusing such a rationality of a kind of instrument for self-preservation. And it is because that Adorno thinks relieving a ability of mimesis which is able to empathize with distress of neglected people is a better practical method mitigating a desire of self-preservation. And it is because that the writter thinks the priority of object in the concept of Adorno's mimesis is probably a better effective practical method to publicize the various distress of neglected people. This paper is written to specify such a theme. Therefor this paper will proceed as follows. First, it will raise a question about performances of rational performers through the disputes of Adorno-Marcuse on the German Student Movement and Adorno's sociological books. Secondly, analyzing Adorno's aesthetics of music, it will show that the priority of object in the concept of Adorno's mimesis is useful in publicizing various distress of neglected people. And in this process writter will insist that making a habit of experiencing in the manner of mimesis is could be a method of a political practice in Adorno' thought. Finally, this paper will review such a Adorno's practical method with disputes of social justice these days.
