李箱 시의 미적 부정성과 표상성 (The Aesthetic Negativity and Representativeness of Yi Sang's poetry)

초록

This thesis examines the poetic awareness of Yi Sang from a perspective of aesthetic negativity, and determines how this negative awareness is symbolized in his texts. Previous studies of Yi sang's poem are more interested in the abstruseness of text interpreting than the poetic awareness. And they explained the cause of that abstruseness as negativity of Dadaism.
However, the poetic awareness or the texts of poem cannot be explained only by the influence of Dadaism. It is because He never mentioned about Dadaism for himself, and his poetry texts not only ended up with form destruction but also building a new representativeness. In other words, even poetic imagination of Yi Sang had been expressed under the influence of Dadaism, seeking for the symbolizing will belong to its own area.
For this reason , to reveal the negativity as Yi Sang's poetic awareness and representativeness of the poetry texts this paper uses the negative dialectics of Adorno as the basis of a logical development, and analyzes how the negativity of Dadaism is exposed to his poem as any aesthetic representativeness. Specifically, this paper divides aesthetic negativity and representativeness of Yi Sang's poem into three types of negativity and reveals the techniques and characteristics of symbolizing analytically.
As the result, this paper suggests that characteristics of Yi sang's poem can be defined as 'negation of the arts and geometric imagination', 'negation of reality and discontinuity of montage', and 'negation of human and fantastic nonidentity'. Poetry of Yi Sang is not only reached in mere tendency of Dadaism as destruction and negation. It is the world of representativeness which is reconstructed in sense of identity with montage and fantasy by switching the negativity of Dadaism to geometric imagination.
