로맨스판타지 웹툰의 부상과 재현 #서로판, #영애물, #집착남물을 중심으로 (Women’s Narrative in a Corset Focusing on Romance Fantasy Genre)

초록

본 연구는 여성 서사가 변화되기를 끊임없이 요청받는 시기에 #서로판이 등장하게 된 배경과 그것에 투영된 여성 독자의 욕망이 재현된 방식을 살펴본다. ‘페미니즘 리부트’ 시대에 여성 문제를 공적 장으로 이끌어 내며 탈코르셋을 지지하는 페미니즘 웹툰 한편에는, 예쁜 드레스를 입기 위해 코르셋을 착용하는 고귀한영애들이 존재한다는 데 주목했다. 본고는 우선 서양로맨스판타지가 웹툰 업계에 부상하게 된 배경을 고찰한다.
이는 웹소설 시장과의 영향관계와 플랫폼의 해외진출이 맞물린 장의 변화로 분석했다. 그리고 장르를 구체화시켜 #서로판, #영애물, #집착남물, #후회남물에 투영된 독자의 취향과 욕망을 살펴보는 동시에 이들 장르물에나타난 독자의 반응을 분석해 미묘하게 변주되는 로맨스의 지점을 발견하고, 서양로맨스판타지 장르의 특성을도출하고자 했다. 이를 위해 댓글이나 커뮤니티에서 공유되는 여성들의 반응을 살펴보았으며, 그 가운데서도 능동적 읽기를 요구하는 독자 반응을 통해 서양로맨스판타지 웹툰의 현재와 전망을 모색했다. 본 연구에서 대상으로 삼는 #서로판, #영애물은 웹소설을 1차 저작물로 하여 웹툰으로 미디어믹스된 작품들이다. 그 가운데 본고는 <버림받은 황비>, <이세계의 황비>, <외과의사 엘리제>, <루시아>를 중심으로 분석했다. 이들 작품을 통해 여전히 유효한 로맨스를 향한 독자의 욕망이 무엇인지 밝히고 있으며, 그 한계도 지적한다.

This study analyzes Romance Fantasy Genre reproduced during feminist reboot.
This course examines the background of Romance Fantasy and how women's desires are represented in this genre. There is a feminist webtoon that supports corset-free movement. But on the other side, there's also a Romance Fantasy that wears a corset for a pretty dress. Therefore, this study examines the desires of women projected in Romance Fantasy and analyzes the reader's reactions. Analyzing this, I found a point of subtle variation of female narrative and examined the possibility of critical reading. This study looked at the responses of women shared in comments and in the community. Among them, the reader's response to active reading was analyzed, and the present and possibility of change of female narrative were examined.
Romance Fantasy Genre follows the conventions of romance and proceeds in ways that further enhance gender performance. The heroines in the novel are typed by men. They also type another object. The reader accepts this uncritically and internalizes it. The cosplayed body is particularly problematic in that it is dual. One is a young girl, a reborn body, and the other is an adult—or very close to an adult. This separated body simulates the girl's body with the spirit of a mature woman and plays a kind of cosplayed body. To disguise them as naive girls is only defined women created by male society. At this point, the uncritical reading of romance narratives still poses a danger, sometimes manifesting as a male backlash. Romance Fantasy Genre is still in bondage to women's bodies and identities. It may be derived from the tradition of romance, sometimes under the guise of a more secret way. Nevertheless, it is possible to see the possibility of change in each other in that one side points out its problems and sees a movement requesting the appearance of a more subjective and capable hostess.
