압록강 유역 고구려 초기 적석묘의 출현과 분포 양상의 성격 (Appearance of Koguryo’s Early Piled-Stone Tombs of Abrok-gang River and Their Characters of Distribution Patten)

초록

고구려 초기 적석묘는 압록강 유역에 집중 분포하고 있는데 대략 6개 권역으로 나뉜다. 각 권역에서는 대체로 기원전 3세기말경 또는 기원전 2세기에 적석묘가 출현하고 있다. 적석묘를 축조한 집단은 토착집단이며, 이들은 戰國 燕 계통 철기문화를 수용하면서 적석묘와 함께 기존묘제도 병용하였으나 점차 적석묘만을 축조하게 된다. 적석묘가 처음 축조되던 시기에는 권역별 적석묘 축조방식의 차이가 있었으나 대략 기원전 1세기를 전후하여 권역간 축조방식의 차이가 해소되고 있다. 이는 적석묘 축조집단들의 권역간 교류 양상을 보여준다.
초기 적석묘의 분포 상황을 보면 하나의 권역은 여러 개의 소권역으로 나뉘며, 소권역 내에는 복수의 개별고분군이 있는데 그 가운데 우월적 지위를 갖는 대표적 고분, 즉 중심고분군이 확인된다. 또한 소권역 중심고분군들 가운데에는 권역을 대표하는 중심고분군이 있다. 중심고분군 변화상이 뚜렷한 환인 권역과 서북한 권역을 검토함으로써 초기 적석묘 고분군 를 ‘권역→소권역→개별 고분군’으로 위계화를 설정 할 수 있다. 이는 고구려 초기 나부체제가 ‘那部→那國[곡․천]→那[원․택․야]’의 구조를 보이는 것과 일맥상통한다. 『삼국사기』를 분석해보면, ‘곡․천․원․택․야’라는 정치집단이 확인되는데 곡․천과 원․택․야는 서로 상하관계를 이루고 있다. 원․택․야는 단위정치체인 ‘나’에, 곡․천은 國에 해당하며, 복수의 나국이 나부를 이룬다. 즉, 권역은 나부, 소권역은 나국, 개별 고분군은 ‘나’에 해당한다. 또한 소권역 중심고분군과 권역 중심고분군은 각각 중심나, 중심나국으로 상정할 수 있다.

영어초록

The early Piled-stone tombs of Koguryo are intensively located on areas of the Abrok-gang river and they are divided into six regions. In each regions Piled-stone tombs appeared generally by the end of the B.C 3rd century or B.C 2rd century. It was native groups that built the Piled-stone tombs. As these groups accepted Cast iron tools of the Yan Dynasty of the Warring States, they used Piled-stone tombs with existing type of tombs. Since then they only constructed Piled-stone tombs gradually. When Piled-stone tombs were built for the first time, there was a difference in construction methods of the Piled-stone tombs by regions. But this difference was disappearing around the B.C 1st century. This shows mutual exchange aspect between the build groups of Piled-stone tombs.
According to distribution situation of the early Piled-stone tombs, one region divided into several small regions. And there are a lot of individual ancient tombs in small regions. Among of them the central ancient tombs are founded, which are representative and superior to others. Also there are central ancient tombs which are representing each regions among the central ancient tombs in small regions. By studying huanren(桓仁) regions and West of North Korea regions which shows marked changing of central ancient tombs, a grade of rank can be set up in ‘regions→small regions→individual ancient tombs’ order. The Nabu system(那部體制) which is an early political system of Koguryo shows ‘Nabu(那部) → Naguk(那國)[Gok․Cheon] → Na(那)[Won․Taek․Ya]’ structure and it has something in common with this structure. Analyzing Samguksagi, political groups named ‘Gok․Cheon․Won․Taek․Ya’ are identified. Gok․Cheon and Taek․Ya are in a vertical relationship. Won․Taek․Ya correspond to ‘Na’, which is units of political organization. Gok․Cheon correspond to Guk(國) and a number of Naguk consist of the Nabu. In other words, regions correspond to the Nabu, small regions correspond to Naguk and each tombs correspond to Na. The each central tombs which represent small regions and regions are presumed as ‘Jungsim-Na(中心那)’ and ‘Jungsim-Naguk(中心那國)'.
