기성군부인 평양이씨(1502~1579) 묘 출토복식 연구 (A Study on the Excavated Costume of Lady Lee(1502～1579)’s Tomb in Namyangju)

초록

The objective of this paper is to study costume excavated from Lady Lee(1502~1579). She is wife of Suham Lee, a grandson of 7th king of Joseon Dynasty. Her tomb used to be located in Byeolnaemyun, Namyangju city, but it was moved on June 10th of 2008, and excavated costume is now collection of Gyeonggi Provincial Museum. Her body was in form of mummy when it was discovered. Costume excavated from her tomb are total of 37 pieces, which includes 26 pieces of dressing, 5 corpse props for burial which has 8 parts, and 6 pieces of woven fabric. For dressing, 1 Noeui, 3 Jangot, 13 Jeogori, 2 Jeoksam, 6 Chima, 1 trousers, 1 duvet, 1 bedding, 1 Aksu with two parts, 1 fabric for bedding, 1 gueui with 3 parts, 6 woven fabric pieces. With these artifacts, types and traits of Women‘s costume in first half of Joseon Dynasty. Birth year and death year, and class is clear that it can be criterion excavated from tombs with no labels from same age. Most characteristic is Noeui that it is different from phoenix patterned fabric that has no dress material and belt, and have different gore from it as well. With Jeogori, and Chima that has variety length and shape, Costume from Lady Lee’s tomb can be from Women’s costume from later 16th Century.
