백제 한성기 횡혈식석실묘의 도입과 확산과정 (The Process of Introduction and Spreading of the Stone Chamber Tombs in Baekje Hansung-Period)

초록

백제 한성기 횡혈식석실묘의 도입은 낙랑ㆍ대방지역의 전실묘에서 영향을 받아 이루어진 것으로 연구되어왔다. 낙랑기원설의 근거로 주로 언급되는 동리묘·남정리119호분은 판교형석실과 구조의 유사성, 시대적 배경, 출토유물 등을 통해 기술적 계보관계가 성립하는 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 4세기 대 낙랑ㆍ대방지역에서 장방형의 전실묘(단실)만이 축조되고 있어, 한성기 방형석실묘와 직접적으로 연결시키기 어렵다. 또한 4세기 이후 고구려가 낙랑·대방지역을 장악하면서, 전실묘에 고구려의 영향이 나타난다. 이는 정치적 주체가 변화하면서 전실묘에도 고구려적 속성이 반영된 것으로 보아야 할 것이다. 따라서 백제 한성기 석실묘는 여러 요소의 영향을 받아 다양한 계통을 갖고 도입된 것으로 판단되며, 다원론적 시각에서 석실묘의 기술적 계보관계를 살펴보아야 할 것이다.
4세기 후반 백제 한성기 횡혈식석실묘는 한강유역을 중심으로 도입되어 점차 지방으로 확산된다. 확산과정에서 각 지방세력의 상황과 기술적인 숙련도 등에 의해 다양한 구조가 등장하는 점이 특징적이라 할 수 있다. 즉, 석실묘라는 새로운 묘제의 도입이 백제 중앙에서 지방으로 일방적인 전파가 이루어진 것이 아니라 중앙과 지방의 상호관계 속에서 이루어진 결과물로 볼 수 있다.
이러한 석실묘는 점차 백제 중앙세력에 의해 정착되는데, 5세기 중반 이후 방형+우편재연도의 구조로 정형화된다. 이후 웅진기에 접어들면서 송산리고분군을 비롯한 공주 일대 대부분에서 송산리형석실이 조영되는 반면, 금학동ㆍ신기동 일대에서는 판교형석실을 계승한 금학동고분군이 조영된다.

It is believed that the introduction of the stone chamber tomb in Baekje Hansung-period is influenced by the Brick Chamber Tomb of Nakrang and Daebang areas. Dongri-tomb, which is often referred to as the origin of the stone chamber tomb in Baekje, is believed to have technological genealogy relations through structural similarities, the background of time, excavated artifacts and others. However, it is difficult to connect to directly to the square type of the stone chamber tomb of Hansung-period because rectangle type of the brick chamber tomb was constructed in 4th century Nakrang and Daebang areas. In addition, Goguryeo's influence, such as the white washed the brick chamber tomb, one-sided roads, has been reflected in the tombs since 313 and 314, which are not the basis of the original Goguryeo Kingdom theory, but some of the attributes of the tombs. Therefore it is believed that the stone chamber tomb in Baekje Hansung-period, was introduced with various systems under different influences.
In the late 4th century, the stone chamber tomb in Baekje Hansung-period is introduced mainly in the area of Han-river and spread out to provinces gradually. In the process of spreading it is distinguishing to show a variety of structure by the situation of each local power and technological proficiency. In other words, the introduction of the new method of building a tomb, called the stone chamber tomb, is a result accomplished by the correlation of the central and local regions, not a one-sided spread from the center of Baekje to the region. It has been gradually shown to be regularized by the center force of Baekje. After the middle of the 5th century, it has been standardized as a structure having square type of a tomb and right-sided roads.
Thus, after Woongjin-period square type of the Songsan-ri stone chamber tomb was built in the most area of Gongju including Songsan-ri tombs while Geumhak-dong tombs, succeeded to the Pangyo-type of stone chamber tomb, were constructed in the area of Geumhak-dong and Singi-dong.
