초록

This dissertation is the study of the symbol and meaning on the body revealed in 『The postwar Korea issues poems』.『The postwar Korea issue poems』is the ensolroji poems created by 33 poets from 1945 to 1960. It is of great importance because the poems reflects the experience suffered through the body in the shortest period.
I looked over how the body encapsulated in the text, what it means, and the contemporary poet's cognizance on the body. It revealed that the shaped pattern on the body points toward the existential humanity through the tragic experience rather than ideology in the relation between the body damaged by war and survival.
This point appears particularly is maximized through the lame of body.
It was founded that the dead body influences to the life of reality through the poet's imagination, and the effects in the side of contact and communication resolved itself into the course of everyday life.
Also, It could be confirmed that the woman's body revealed on『The postwar Korea issue poems』 worked as an important symbols on the biological representation of femininity or feminine beauty because it adheres traditional and patriarchal perspective. At this point, in the Korea literature it is possible to look over how the patriarchal gaze continued until modern times through the synchronic study.
This study is significant in the point that it symbolized the body through the poets represents an era and the poetic characteristics of text, and considered the poet's cognizance on the body.
Future this study will be more deeper if researched a bit more on the part, the shaping of individual poet's poem revealed on the body and interpretation in the features of symbolization and meaning on the body.
