사상철학과 차크라(Chakra) 체계의 몸·마음 이해와 그 상관성 고찰 (A Study of Body and Mind’s Understanding of Sasang Philosophy and Chakra System)

초록

본 논문은 사상철학과 요가철학의 차크라 체계를 통해 인간의 몸과 마음에 대한 이해를 비교 고찰하였다.
차크라 체계에서는 몸과 마음․정신을 서로 연결하는 7가지 중요한 물라다라(mūlādhāra), 스와디스타나(svādhişţhāna), 마니푸라(maņipūra), 아나하타(anāhata), 비슈다(viśhuddha), 아즈나(ājñā), 사하스라라(sahasrāra) 차크라가 있다. 이들 차크라는 각각의 고유한 진동수를 가지고 있어서 해당되는 차크라 마다 신체기관이나 심리적 상태와 상호작용을 하고 있다.
사상철학의 구조를 차크라 체계에 연계하면, 사상인 장국의 대소는 제1차크라, 애노희락의 性氣와 情氣는 제2차크라, 사상인의 장리를 규정하는 폐비간신의 氣는 제3차크라, 함억제복과 두견요둔에 있는 性(邪心)과 命(怠心)은 제4차크라, 이목비구의 好善之心과 폐비간신의 惡惡之心은 제5차크라, 인간의 본성인 人事 有四는 제6차크라, 천도 운행의 기틀인 天機 有四는 제7차크라에 서로 상통함을 알 수 있다.
특히 네 번째 아나하타 차크라는 일곱 차크라에서 上下를 연결하는 중요한 지점으로 사상철학의 함억제복과 두견요둔의 이중적인 마음작용과 연계되어 우리의 삶에서 지대한 영향을 미치고 있다.
사상철학과 차크라 체계는 단순히 육체적 차원을 넘어 정신적․심리적․영적인 부분을 추구하고 있다. 이는 최근 세계보건기구(WHO)가 건강을 정의하면서 종래의 육체적․정신적․사회적 건강에 덧붙여 영적 건강을 추가시킨 것과 일맥상통 한다.
한편 본 연구는 현대인의 몸과 마음의 치유에 활용되고 있는 차크라 체계와 상관성을 통해 사상철학의 본질적 가치를 드러내고, 사상철학이 사람들의 몸과 마음을 치유하는데 새로운 토대가 될 것으로 기대된다. 또 사상철학과 요가철학의 상관성이 밝혀짐으로써 한국철학의 보편성이 확보되는 역할을 하게 되는 것이다.

영어초록

This paper examines the understanding of human body and mind through the Chakra system of Sasang philosophy and yoga philosophy.
In the chakra system, there are seven important things that connect the body, mind and spirit together : muladhara, svadhisthana, mamipura, anahata, vishuddha, ajna, and the sahasrara chakra. Each of these chakras has their own frequency, so that each chakra interacts with the body organs or psychological states.
When the structure of Sasang philosophy is linked to the chakra system, the size of Sasangin’s organ participate in the first Chakra, SungGi(性氣)와 JungGi(情氣) of all sorts of emotion is in agreement with the second Chakra, the spirit of Pyebigansin(lung, spleen, liver and kidney) that defines management of Sasangin is in agreement with the third Chakra, Sung(性) and Myeong(命) in the Chin․Chest․Umbilicus ․Abdomen(頷臆臍腹) and the Head․Shoulders․Waist․Buttocks(頭肩腰臀) are with the forth chakra, mind of Hosun(好善之心)of the Ears․Eyes․Nose․Mouth(耳目鼻口) and mind of Oak(惡惡之心) of the Lung ․Spleen․Liver․Kidney(肺脾肝腎) are with the fifth chakra, Insa(人事) that is human nature, is with the sixth chakra and Chongi(天機), the basics of the way of heaven running communicate with the seventh chakra each other.
Especially the fourth Anahata chakra is an important point connecting up and down in seven chakras. This is linked to the double-minded function of the Chin․Chest․Umbilicus․Abdomen and the Head․Shoulders․Waist․Buttocks of the Sasang philosophy. This has a profound impact on our lives.
The Sasang philosophy and the chakra system are pursuing mental, psychological, and spiritual aspects beyond merely physical dimension. This is in line with that recent World Health Organization(WHO) definnes about health adding spiritual health in addition to traditional physical, mental and social health.
Meanwhile, this study reveals the essential value of Sasang philosophy through correlation with the chakra system which is used for healing body and mind of modern man. It is expected that Sasang philosophy will become the new foundation for healing people's mind and body. And the relativity of Sasang philosophy and yoga philosophy is revealed, the universality of Korean philosophy will be secured.
