GUI디자인 구성요소에 따른 인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰 디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Internet Fashion Shopping-Mall Design by Components of GUI Design)

초록

초고속 인터넷 망이 전국적으로 구축됨에 따라 인터넷 쇼핑몰을 이용하는 숫자는 해마다 증가추세이고 이에 따라 수많은 인터넷 쇼핑몰 업체가 시장에 등장해 치열한 경쟁을 벌이고 있다. 이러한 극심한 경쟁 속에서는 판매상품의 품질과 우수성뿐만 아니라 쇼핑몰 사이트 자체에서 사용자에게 보다 시각적으로 빠르고 손쉽게 정보를 제공할 수 있는지가 중요한 결정요소로 작용한다.
그래픽 사용자 인터페이스(GUI)는 네비게이션, 컬러, 아이콘, 타이포그래피 등 다양한 요소를 통해 사용자와 시스템간의 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션이 가능하도록 인터페이스 환경을 제공한다. 이와 같은 장점을 가진 GUI의 등장은 일반인도 컴퓨터와 인터넷을 쉽고 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 여건을 마련해주었다는 점에서 중요한 의미를 가진다. 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 GUI디자인 요소들은 사용자의 편리성과 즐거움뿐만 아니라 구매의도를 높이는 역할을 담당하고 있다. 특히 가격경쟁력과 편리한 배송서비스, 수많은 상품정보 획득가능의 이유로 패션상품이 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 차지하는 비율이 꾸준한 증가추세를 보이며 높은 매출을 나타내고 있다. 그러므로 GUI디자인 요소를 패션 쇼핑몰에서 실속있게 활용한다면 경쟁이 치열한 패션 쇼핑몰 시장에서 자사 쇼핑몰이 시장 내 우위를 차지하고 충성도 높은 고객을 유치할 수 있다. 그러나 인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰의 디자인이 중요함에도 불구하고 아직까지 웹 디자인에 분야에서 이를 전문적으로 분석하고 검토한 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 패션 제조업체가 생산한 브랜드 제품을 판매하는 패션 브랜드 전문 쇼핑몰을 대상으로 웹 디자인을 GUI디자인 요소를 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 패션 브랜드 전문 쇼핑몰의 GUI디자인 요소의 문제점과 개선방안에 대해 제시하였다. 따라서 다른 패션 쇼핑몰 업체에서도 GUI디자인 요소를 전략적으로 어떻게 이용할 것인지 면밀히 검토해야 할 것이다.

영어초록

As broadband internet network is established throughout the country, the number of customers using internet shopping malls shows an increasing trend. So many online stores have entered the marketplace, competing fiercely. In the midst of extreme competition like this, the ability of supplying fast and convenient visual information in the internet shopping mall itself affects as an important deciding factor, in addition to the quality and superiority of the products offered.
Graphic User Interface (GUI) offers an interface environment which makes two-way communication between the users and the system throughvarious methods, including navigation, color, icon and typography. The emergence of the GUI with all these advantages has a great importance, by providing the ordinary people the means to use the computer and internet easily and conveniently.
The GUI design factors in internet shopping mall not only emphasize the convenience and pleasure of the users, but also take the role of raising the intention to purchase. Especially, the proportion of the fashion products in the online shopping industry shows a constantly increasing trend and high selling rate, through price competitiveness, ease of shipping and display of additional product information. So, if the GUI design factors are effectively used and shown in online fashion malls, it may be possible to take an upper ground in the competitive online marketplace and gain highly loyal customers. But, although the design of the internet shopping mall is very important, in web design part there has not been enough professional analyses and reviews conducted about that subject. So, in this study, I intend to analyze the web design of fashion brand online shipping sites selling fashion brand products manufactured on its own, through the GUI design factors. Therefore, the fashion brand shopping site analyzed in this study successfully got the focus of the customers, and showed the ease of use, by using the GUI design factors plainly and consistently. So, other online fashion malls should review how to strategically use the GUI design factors very thoroughly.
