    초록

    The purpose of this research is for delivering coach of school athlete’s opinions to improve their treatments. To achieve this, this study focus on answering questions which are described following; How coaches of school athlete are treated in their workspace. What are their duties in the school. Is monetary reward enough for their work. Five coaches of school athlete are selected as research participants for conducting in depth-interviews. In order to obtain valuable information, researcher presented key questions to the participant before conducting a formal interview. To analysis the interviewing data, the inductive categorical system was used. After this, members checks and peer debriefing were carried out for validity of the study.
    First, coaches of school athlete require switching their job position from temporary employer to full-time worker. In other words, they long for obtaining a full-time positions such as a contact worker for an indefinite period and an educational worker. Secondly, they require development of rational evaluation system which is based on long-term outcomes rather than short-term performances. Basically, the pressure for short-term outcomes makes coaches of school athlete and students short-tempered that causes vicious cycle. Eventually, proper education could not be achieved in the school. Finally, school supports are needed to enable coaches to perform their duties on their own initiative. More specifically, they want to improve work efficiency through performing their work independently rather than work with school teachers.
    If people who are working in athletics agree with these voices, the coaches’ treatments in school should be improved as soon as possible. It is important that the efforts to listen to their voices the policy. Based on this, realistic plans should be established and practiced.
