中宗反正이후 承襲外交와 朝明關係 (The succession diplomacy to the throne and Relationship between the Joseon and Ming after Jungjong Restoration)

초록

In this article, I study the succession diplomacy to the throne and the meaning after Jungjong restoration(中宗反正). The Jungjong restoration was happened because of wrong politics of the Yeonsangun(燕山君). But, The legitimacy had the problem at the point which the swap of the king was decided by the minister. 'The condominium of king and minister(君臣共治)', as a result was brought about. To be recognized the accession to throne of the Jungjong appeared from China to the diplomacy issue after the Restoration. Ming was managed by strict bureaucrat system and did not acknowledge abnormal accession to throne. The main group of restoration needed the approval of Ming to reserve the justice of restoration. Joseon chose the alternative to be reality though it lost the justice of the Restoration, Mandate of Heaven(天命).
The succession diplomacy to the throne was processed to 3 steps. A clear recognition about the state of things of Ming, the thorough readiness about the petition(주청) course, the concentration of all Sahaeng(使行)'s ability about the succession to the throne etc the side to concentrate all ability of the nation was put together with the political indifference of Enperor, the intemperate politics power of the eunuchs, the disordered administration system, a document transmit system by the eunuchs etc, the outside situation and Joseon got the approval from Ming.
