초록

팬데믹(Pandemic) 상황이 끝없이 지속되면서, 그동안 한국어 교육에서 일반적이었던 한국어교재 중심의 대면 교육을 온라인 기반 비대면 교육으로 전환해야 하는 어려움에 직면하고 있다.
본 연구는 비대면 온라인 융합 교육 사례 분석을 통해 한국 언어 문화 교육을 위한 스마트러닝의효과적인 활용방안을 제시하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.
뉴노멀 시대, 한국어 교육에서도 코로나 이전의 교육을 넘어 새로운 기준을 모색하는 교육의혁신이 필요하다. 이에 H대 한국언어문화학과 ‘인공지능 시대의 스마트러닝’ 수업 사례를 통해한국 언어 문화 교육과 스마트러닝, 인공지능을 연계한 융합 교육내용과 온라인 비대면 수업에서학생들과 교수자의 연결과 소통을 높일 수 있었던 원격 수업의 다양한 형태를 모색해 보았다.
한편 비대면 온라인 수업 환경 속에서 SMART 기반 교육을 통해 21세기 학습자에게 필요한역량을 전반적으로 향상시킬 수 있었다. 또한 PBL(프로젝트 기반 학습, 문제 중심 학습)을 통해자기주도성, 연결과 소통, 협업을 통한 문제해결 능력, 컴퓨팅 사고 기반 문제해결 능력을 기를수 있었다.
수업 효과를 검증하기 위해 사전 설문과 사후 설문을 실시하였다. 모든 문항에서 수업 전보다수업 이후에 평균값이 상승하였고, 대부분의 문항에서 통계적으로 유의미한 범위에서 수강생들의관련 인식과 역량이 상승하였다. 한 학기 수업이 주요 학습목표를 달성하는 데 효과적이었음을확인할 수 있었다.
특정 대학의 사례라는 점에서 학습자의 수준이나 목적, 교육환경이 다른 모든 대학으로 일반화하기에는 제한이 따르지만, 한국 언어 문화 교육과 스마트러닝, 인공지능의 융합 교육이 뉴노멀시대에 어떻게 실천될 수 있을지 심도 있는 연구가 부족한 상황에서 유사한 고민을 가지고 한국어교육 분야에서 새로운 기준을 탐색하는 연구자들에게 실제적인 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 코로나이후 급속한 교육환경 변화 속에 실습 중심의 융합 교육이 비대면으로 갑자기 운영되다 보니교육 인프라 면에서 여러 제약이 있어 이에 대한 보완이 필요하다

영어초록

As the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic continues, face-to-face education centered on Korean language textbooks, which has been common in Korean language education, is facing difficulties in transitioning to online-based contactless education.
This study thus aimed to present an effective application plan of smart learning for Korean language and culture education through a case analysis of contactless online convergence education.
In this era of new normal, in Korean language education, it is necessary to innovate education to seek new standards beyond education before the COVID-19 period. Using the case of “Smart Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” of the Department of Korean Language and Culture at H University, the content of convergence education linking Korean language and culture education, smart learning, and artificial intelligence were examined, and various forms of distance classes that could enhance the connection and communication between students and instructors in contactless online classes were explored.
Through SMART-based education in the contactless online class environment, this class improved the overall competencies required for twenty-first-century learners. In addition, project-based learning or problem-based learning helped to develop self-direction, connection and communication, problem-solving skills through collaboration, and problem-solving skills based on computing thinking.
To verify the class effectiveness, pre- and post-surveys were conducted. In all the questions, the average value increased after each class compared to the previous one.
In most of the questions, students' perceptions and competences increased within a statistically significant range. It was confirmed that one semester’s learning was effective in achieving the main learning goals.
This study is limited in that it focuses on a specific university; thus, it may not be generalized to all universities with different levels, purposes, and educational environments. Nevertheless, the study may offer practical help to researchers who seek new standards in the field of Korean language education with similar concerns where in-depth research on how Korean language and culture education, smart learning, and artificial intelligence convergence education can be practiced in the era of new normal is insufficient. In addition, due to the rapid change in the educational environment after COVID-19, practice-oriented convergence education was suddenly conducted remotely; therefore, there were several limitations in terms of education infrastructure.
Therefore, there is a need to address these limitations.
