    초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of turning motion on hand dominance, foot dominance and turning direction, and analyze how balance is affected after vestibular stimulation is given by turning. The subject of this study included 11 college male students who did not exercise regularly and had never received turning training. Of these, 7 were right-handed and 4 were left-handed, while 6 were right-footed and 5 were left-footed. As study tools, the position values of the toes were obtained with a 3D image analysis using 6 cameras to measure turning area during turning motion, and a force place form was used to measure balance immediately after turning motion. For data processing, the MATLAB polyarea function was used to calculate turning area, both anterior-posterior and medio-lateral GRF values were obtained by the force plate form, and the path of COP was measured for COP. The two-way repeated measure ANOVA analysis was performed to analyze hand dominance (right and left hand) and foot dominant (right and left foot) by right turn and left turn. Results: 1. An interactive effect was found between foot dominance and turning direction, showing that turning area was affected depending on whether the turning foot, not the stepping foot, was the dominant foot or not. 2. Anterior-posterior and medio-lateral GRF affected turning direction, showing that onefoot balance decreased after turning right, rather than turning left. It was also found that foot dominance affected anterior-posterior and medio-lateral GRF, and the one-foot balance of students with left foot dominance decreased right after turning. 3. For the paths of COP, an interactive effect was found between turning direction and hand dominance, showing that balance was the highest in left-turning of the right-handed, followed by right-turning of the right-handed, right-turning of the left-handed, and left-turning of the left-handed.
