비대면 시각문화예술교육을 통해 본 프로그램 개발 및 실행연구 (A Study on Program Development through Non-Face-to-Face Visual Arts and Culture Education)

초록

코로나19의 발생으로 인해 2020년에는 우리의 일상과 문화예술계는 대부분 비대면이 되었고, 또한 디지털화되었다. 특히 교육 부문은 빠르게 비대면화되었는데, 문화예술교육의 현장에서도 비대면화은 피해갈 수 없는 상황이 되었다. 이러한 상황 속에서, 본 연구는 비대면 시각문화예술교육의 사례를 통해 장ㆍ단점을 검토하고, 이를 토대로 프로그램을 개발ㆍ실행하여 비대면 시각문화예술교육의 과제를 제시하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 온라인 교육과 비대면 시각문화예술교육을 바탕으로 온라인 환경에 맞춘 콘텐츠 제작과 온라인 네트워크 형성, 대면과 비대면의 병행과 장르융합, 다양한 참여자 대상의 프로그램, 소통 중시, 지속성, 교육자 및 참여자의 학습체제 전환이라는 측면에서 일곱가지 방향을 제시하였다. 그리고 문화예술교육 선행연구에서 분석한 방향에 맞추어 <찾고, 보고, 만들고, 즐기고!>라는 비대면 시각문화예술교육 프로그램을 개발하고 프로그램을 실행하여, 인터넷 활용과 참여자간 소통의 측면에서는 유의미한 변화가 보이지 않았으나, 커뮤니티와의 관계, 문화예술의 이해 및 시각문화예술 활용역량의 측면에서는 긍정적인 변화가 나타났음을 결과로 도출하였다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 비대면 시각문화예술 프로그램의 개발을 통하여 다양한 매체 활용과 참여자-참여자, 참여자-교육자 사이의 원활한 소통이 이루어지는 미술교육의 발전 가능성을 전망하였다.

영어초록

Nearly everything was digitized in 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and the non-face-to-face factor has become a part of our daily lives. In a situation where the education sector, as well as arts and culture education, have also become non-face-to-face, this study aimed to focus on the current status of arts and culture education, especially visual arts and culture education, to examine the strengths and weaknesses of the current non-face-to-face art and culture education, and to develop and implement a program based on the analysis and present future directions for the field. This study thus presented seven future directions for online education and non-face-to-face visual arts and culture education: the creation of content tailored to the online environment and the formation of online networks, simultaneous use of both face-to-face and non-face-to-face methods and the convergence of genres, programs for various participants, emphasis on communication, continuity, the transition of learning system for educators and participants. Based on the nine directions mentioned above, this study developed a non-face-to-face visual culture and art education program called “Find, See, Make, and Enjoy!” After executing the program, this study found that although there were some shortcomings in terms of Internet use, communication between participants, and time distribution, positive change was found in the relationship with the community, understanding of arts and culture, and the ability to utilize visual arts and culture. By modifying and revising the program based on the research findings, researchers may be able to create a non-face-to-face visual arts and culture education program that utilizes various media and allows good communication between participants and between the educators and the participants.
