라이프케어테인먼트 기반 ADHD 성향 대학생의 학습태도와 감각처리능력에 관한 상관성 연구 (A Lifecaretatinment Based Approach to Investigating Correlation between Learning Satisfaction and Sensory Processing in ADHD-prone University Students)

초록

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 라이프케어테인먼트를 기반으로 하는 ADHD 성향과 비성향의 학생들간의 감각처리능력과 학습태도의 차이를 알아보고상관관계를 파악하여 대학생 ADHD를 중재하고자하는 전문가에게 메디테이먼트적 접근을 위한 유용한 정보를 제공하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 전라남도 지역의 4개 대학교에 총 336명의 대학생을 대상으로 K-AADHDS를 이용하여 대학생의 ADHD 성향을 분석하고 AASP, 학습태도 각각의 검사지를 통하여 감각처리능력과 학습태도를 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과로 ADHD 유형의 대학생은 비성향의 대학생들보다 감각처리능력에서 등록저하, 감각찾기, 과민감각, 감각회피에서 통계적을 유의한 차이를 보였고(p<.01), 학습태도는 주의집중, 자율학습, 학업적자신감에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.01).
ADHD 성향집단의 감각처리능력과 학습태도에 대한상관성을 알아본 결과 감각처리능력의 등록저하는자율학습, 학교태도, 학업적 자신감과 감각찾기는주의집중, 학습방법, 학습총점과 과민감각은 주의집중, 학습방법, 학습총점과 감각회피는 주의집중, 학습방법, 학습총점과 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를보였다(p<.05). 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 ADHD 성향의 대학생을 중재하기 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수있으며, 향후 ADHD 성향의 대학생을 위한 감각처리능력 중재를 제공하여 학습태도의 변화를 알아보는 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

영어초록

The purpose of the study was to provide clinical practitioners useful information when planning interventions for University students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by investigating relationships between learning satisfaction and sensory processing skills in two different groups of students, the students with ADHD tendency and those without the tendency. 336 University students were recruited from 4 universities in Jeollanam-do (Province), South Korea. They were assessed in terms of ADHD tendency using Korean Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Scale (K-AADHDS). Moreover, learning satisfaction and sensory processing skills were evaluated using a screening tool for learning satisfaction and Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile (AASP). The scores of attention, academic self-concept, and academic self-efficacy in the results of the screening tool for learning satisfaction were also found to be significantly different between groups (p<.01). There were statistically significant differences in the scores of low registration, sensation seeking, sensitivity to stimuli, sensation avoiding in sensory processing skills between the groups (p<.01). In the student with ADHD tendency, low registration in sensory processing skills was significantly correlated with the academic self-concept, the academic attitude, and the academic self-efficacy. In addition, statistically significant correlations were found between the sensation seeking and the attention, the learning method, and the total score of learning. The sensitivity to stimuli in the sensory processing skills were strongly correlated with the attention, the learning method, and the total score of learning. Finally, statistically significant correlations were found between the sensation avoiding and the attention, the learning method, and the total score of learning. While the findings of this study can be utilized when planning intervention for University students with ADHD tendency, further investigation is required to discover changes in learning attitude after providing interventions for sensory processing skills to the target students.
