무생물의 역의인화에 대한 고찰 - 가전체(假傳體) 소설과 영화 <엑스맨>을 중심으로 - (Research about the reverse anthropomorphic representation of inanimate object)

초록

가전체 소설은 국내 고전문학 양식 가운데 장르의규정 및 명칭과 관련하여 오랜 시간 논란의 중심에있어왔다. “가전”, “가전체 소설”, “의인문학”, “의인체소설”, “우언문학” 등의 다양한 이름으로 불리어지는것이 이를 반증한다. 이 문제에 대한 연구자들의 논의의 쟁점을 살펴보면, 그중 가전체 소설의 인물 캐릭터와 내러티브의 특수성에 대한 언급을 찾아볼 수 있다.
곧 가전체 소설 속 인물캐릭터의 의인화 방법은, 우화(寓話)류의 의인화 방법과 다르게, 의인화의 방향이완전히 반대로 되어 있음을 거론한 것이다. 따라서 연구자들은 의인화의 대상과 주체가 전혀 반대로 구성되어 있는 가전체 소설을 “가전체적 방법”이라는 말로 기술하여, 우화(寓話) 소설의 의인화와 구분하였다.
그러나 이는 의인화 방향의 전환을 염두에 둔 분석과규정은 아니다. 가전체 소설의 중요한 장르적 특성을의인화 방향의 전환에 두기 보다는, 의인화의 대상을- 272 - 대나무, 술, 돈, 종이, 지팡이, 사람의 심성 등의 무정물들로 삼는 것에 둔 것이다.
이에 본 논문에서는 가전체 소설에서 나타나는 의인화의 방향 전환을 ‘역(逆)의인화’로 규정하고 가전체소설 속 역(逆)의인화 캐릭터를 분석하였다. 아울러영화 <엑스맨>의 역(逆)의인화 캐릭터를 분석하고 그결과를 가전체 소설의 그것과 비교분석하였다. 그 결과 가전체 소설과 영화 <엑스맨> 무생물 역(逆)의인화 캐릭터는 다음 세 가지 기준으로 분석된다.
1) 콘텐츠 대상의 분류2) 콘텐츠의 주요성향3) 주 캐릭터와 보조캐릭터의 연계성콘텐츠 대상의 분류를 기준으로 가전체 소설은 사물을 영화 <엑스맨>은 무형물을 주로 역의인화 대상으로 삼았다. 또한 콘텐츠의 주요성향을 기준으로 가전체 소설은 상징성, 영화 <엑스맨>은 영웅성을 주요성향으로 삼는다. 마지막으로 주 캐릭터와 보조 캐릭터의 연계성을 기준으로 가전체 소설은 주 캐릭터의분류기준과 보조 캐릭터의 분류기준이 강한 상관성을가지고 있었으며 이에 반해 영화 <엑스맨>은 주 캐릭터의 분류기준과 보조 캐릭터의 분류기준이 주목할만한 상관성을 가지고 있지 않는 것으로 분석되었다

영어초록

Gajeon fiction has been at the center of a long time controversy regarding the rules and names of genres among domestic classical literary styles. It is said that various names such as "household appliances," "household appliances novels," "humanities," "human novels," and " The issue of the researchers' discussion on this issue can be found in the reference to the character of narrative novel and the specificity of narrative.
That is, the method of personification of character characters in the household electric novels is different from the method of personification of fables, and the direction of personification is completely reversed.
Therefore, the researchers distinguished the fictionalized novel, which is composed of the opposite object of the personification and the subject, from the personification of the fable novel. However, this is not an analysis and regulation with a view to changing the direction of personification. Rather than putting the important genre characteristics of the Gajeon fiction into the conversion of the personification direction, the object of the personification is to make the objects of the anthropomorphism such as bamboo, liquor, money, paper.
Therefore, in this paper, the direction of the personification in the Gajeon fiction is defined as the "reverse personification" and the character of the person in the household is analyzed. In addition, I analyze the reverse personification character of the movie "X-man" and compare the result with that of the electronic novel. As a result, it is analyzed according to the following three criteria.
1) Classification of content objects 2) Main tendency of content 3) Relationship between main character and auxiliary character Based on the classification of the content object, the Gajeon fiction made the object "movie" and the "X-man" made the intangible object mainly the object of reverse personification. Also, based on the main tendency of the contents, the fictional novel is symbolic, and the movie "X-Men" is heroic. Finally, based on the linkage between the main characters and the auxiliary characters, there was a strong correlation between the classification criteria of the main characters and the classification criteria of the auxiliary characters, while the movie <Xman> was classified into the main character classification and the auxiliary character classification The criterion was analyzed to have no significant correlation.
