말뭉치 統計分析을 이용한 反意語 連續 構成 硏究 (The Study on Continuous Antonyms Composition Using Statistic Analysis on Corpus)

초록

이 硏究는 反意關係 語彙의 共起 構成 樣式을 檢討하여 반의관계 어휘가 연속될 때 사용되는 특정한 구성 방식을 把握하고 이들 구성과 관련된 意味的 特性을 확인하였다. 반의어 연속에 특징적인 구성 형식을 확인하기 위해서 現代國語 말뭉치를 이용하여 反意語들이 문장 속에서 연속되는 특정한 形態를 추출한 후 逆으로 특정한 형태가 반의어 이외의 單語들과 연속하여 사용되는 예를 비교하여 검증하는 방식을 통해 반의 어휘 연속의 有意味한 구성을 추출하였다. 그 결과 名詞 반의어 연속 9개 유형, 動詞 반의어 연속 10개 유형, 形容詞 반의어 연속 14개 유형이 선별되었으며 이들은 連續 構成, 反復 構成, 그리고 특정한 방식의 其他 類型으로 나눌 수 있었다. 또한 의미적 측면에서 반의관계는 對立的 認識에 기반한 統合과 區分이라는 본질적인 두 가지 意味 機能으로 압축되며, 이를 前提로 對照, 讓步, 轉移, 敷衍과 같은 개별적인 문장 구성에 따른 의미가 구분되는 양상도 확인 할 수 있었다.

영어초록

This study examines the patterns of continuous antonyms composi- tion in order to figure out certain compositional patterns used when antonyms appear continually and look into semantic characteristics related to that composition. Considering the fact that in Korean, particular grammatical patterns are very crucial in producing sentences, it is needed to examine not the simple sequences of antonymous pairs but with what grammatical patterns they are continued. Among these, it is necessary to select patterns that are closely related with antonymous composition. It is because this can allow more precise examination on the use of antonyms and establish important materials to teach the usage of antonyms. In order to examine particular compositional patterns of antonymous sequences, this paper extracts certain successive patterns of antonyms from sentences using the corpus of modern Korean. Meanwhile, it also compares them with the examples of certain successive patterns with words other than antonyms for verification so as to extract significant compositions of antonymous sequences. As a result, this study selects 9 noun antonyms sequences, 10 verb antonyms sequences, and 14 adjective antonyms sequ- ences. And they can be classified into successive compositions, repeated compositions, and the rest types with specific patterns. Also, from semantic aspects, antonymy can be compressed with two essential, semantic functions, that is, integration and division based on contrastive recognition. With this premise, it has been found that there is a pattern of semantic division according to individual sentential constituents such as contrast, yield, transfer, or denial. This study is meaningful in that with this process, we can extract sentences with antonymous sequences and figure out with what types of sentences they are connected to show specific patterns comprising ‘antonymy’.
