위르겐 몰트만의 신학에 나타난 정치윤리의 변화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Change of the political Ethics in the Theology of Jürgen Moltmann)

초록

본 논문은 위르겐 몰트만의 신학 속 정치윤리를 연대기적으로 살펴봄으로써 정치윤리의 전반적인 변화를 살펴보려고 시도하였다. 이는 몰트만의 정치신 학에 대한 높은 관심과 달리 특정한 시기의 정치윤리만이 지나치게 강조되 고 있는 문제 때문이다. 몰트만의 정치신학은 자본주의의 모순을 일관되게 비판하고 있으며 사회적 약자와 정치적으로 억압받는 자들에 대한 기독교의 책임을 지속적으로 강조하고 있다. 또한 서구사회의 급격한 시대적 변화 속 에서 나타난 사회적 문제들에 신학적 해결책을 제시하기 위해 발전하였다. 희망의 신학 속 종말론적 희망이 가진 사회 변혁적 성격은 68혁명을 거치 면서 더욱 분명해졌다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그의 정치신학은 1975년 남미의 해방신학자들과의 갈등 이후 혁명의 주체와 방법 그리고 그 지향성에 있어 차이를 보이게 된다. 이후 그의 정치신학은 서구적 상황 속에서 정치해석학 을 보다 깊이 있게 다루는 방식으로 발전하게 된다. 하지만 2008년 신자유주 의 경제체제의 붕괴 이후 몰트만은 희망의 윤리 를 통해 다시금 현존하는 자본주의체제의 변혁과 양극화로 인해 고통 받고 있는 이들을 향한 그리스 도인들의 강한 정치적 참여를 강조하게 된다.
몰트만의 정치신학에서 기존의 사회적 모순을 해결하기 위한 신학적 지향성이 존재한다는 것은 부인할 수 없다. 하지만 사회적 혁명이나 마르크스 주의에대한이해는그변화의진폭이크다. 또한사회적변혁의성격도그 의 신학적 발전단계에 따라 분명한 차이를 보인다. 이러한 차이는 몰트만의 정치신학이 이데올로기적 지향성이 그리 강하지 않기 때문에 발생한 것이 다. 현실에 기반으로 한 몰트만의 정치윤리는 시대적 변화에 따라 그의 신학 이 지속적으로 발전할 수 있는 동력이 되고 있다.

영어초록

This paper tries to find out the change of political ethics in Jürgen Moltmann in terms of development of his Christian political theology. It is because his political ethics in a specific period has been exceedingly emphasized apart from the high interest in Moltmann’s political theology. Of course, Moltmann’s political theology has consistently criticized the contradictions of the Capitalism and sustainedly emphasized the responsibility of the Christianity for the socially disadvantaged and the politically repressed. Moltmann’s political theology has evolved to present a theological solution to the social problems appeared in rapid changes in contemporary Western society. But the character of social change with eschatological hope in Theology of Hope became more evident while experiencing the 68 Revolution. At the same time it led to a theological discussion of the social revolution. Nevertheless, his political theology was distinguishing subjects, methods, differences and their political orientation in the revolution after his conflict with liberation theologians in Latin America in 1975. Then his political theology developed in a way of dealing more in-depth political hermeneutics in the Western context. But since 2008 the neoliberal economic system has been collapsing Moltmann emphasizing the strong political engagement of Christians towards those who are suffering through the Ethics of hope, due to the repeated polarization transformation of the existing capitalist system.
We can not deny that the theological orientation to solve the existing social contradictions exists in his political theology. But the understanding of the social revolution and Marxism gets greater the amplitude of the change. The character of social transformation also show obvious difference in each stage of his theological development. This difference caused by Moltmann’s theology in ideological orientation is not very strong. A political ethics based on this reality has become a power that could constantly lead to the development of the theology of Moltmann with the times.
