再論敎學“漢文講讀”敎科所面臨的疑義問題 — 以≪論語⋅學而≫篇“行有餘力，則以學文”二句辨義爲中心

초록

This paper is try to inquiry into those below some questions: From starting inquiry into the recent study trend of academic societies, interpretation of meaning about two phrases in the Chapter 6 of Confucian Analects, that is he has any surplus energy and then he may pursue his learning to letters, put in order so to speak, ‘a letter’ appeared in whole volume of Confucian Analects, annotation on the ‘a letter’ in the Chapter 6 of Confucian Analects through successive generation of China, discrimination of meaning a letter in phrase, “He has any surplus energy and then he may pursue his learning to compose a Poem” etc.
According to the annotation about phrases in the Confucian Analects, “He has any surplus energy and then he may pursue his learning to compose a Poem”, through successive generation of Chinese scholars, here the meaning of letter(Character)in above sentence could be classified into 7 kinds as generally documentary records, LiuYi, liberal arts, literacy style, culture, Character, a man of letters etc. Those are related with academic learning, However here are inconsistent between something to do and any surplus energy after coincide the Learning, Practice.
So we have to run follow the intensively comparative study about ‘Letter’ which appeared at 7 kinds of meaning in all of Confucian Analects and then look for common elements combinate each others by way of step by step trace its meaning. Finally it could be get a real meaning of that ‘Letter’ That common element is compatible with LiYue commonly intrinsic substance, and the other, ‘Letter’ is extrinsic substance. Therefore, relation between LiYue and Letter is to be seen as Wholeness and Part, Substance and Means. After then set up a whole requirement conditions, it could be a man of virtue and arrived at the purpose of that meaning in effect for LiJi(Book of Rites). compared to words, stage of Letter quote poems or present the will of both sides using a poem, and also this is a kind of linguistic stage.
In case that present the will through singing a poem could be used as an unrestricted to ‘Letter’, that process would not be completed at a time.
So Confucius say in a word “one has any surplus energy and then he may pursue his learning to ‘Letter’”. After Teaching and Learning the basic curriculum, just like a LiuYe, Practicing it by interact the LiYue, then would say “if one has any surplus energy then he may pursue his learning to poem letter, so we can confirm that people in Song dynasty would say it’s a ‘Liberal arts’”.
Any study could not free from critique without evidence produced by author not only in natural science but also in humanities. So at least in interpretation of Classics concerned with Confucius, it should be considered the inner meaning in context of that phrases, and how those usages appeared in the other context. and then we can find those meanings continued.
So at the same time when we pursue the meaning of ‘Letter’ and also LiYue, it could be attained and applied those patterns as a real meaning of that ‘Letter’, That common element is compatible with LiYue commonly intrinsic substance, and the other, ‘Letter’ is extrinsic substance. Therefore, we can acknowledge the meanings between ‘LiYue’ and ‘Letter’ is to be seen those inner meanings: as Wholeness and Part, Substance and Means.
