초록

본 연구는 전통적 설교의 한계를 넘어 새롭게 등장한 신설교학 운동에서 이해되어진 후레드 크래독(Fred. B. Craddock)의 귀납적 설교방법과 신설교학의 또 하나의 방법을 제시한 유진 라우리(Eugene Lowry)의 내러티브 설교방식을 동시에 고찰하여 오늘날 한국강단에서 플롯구성과 이미지화를 통한 귀납적 설교방법으로 메시지 전달을 극대화 하는 설교방법을 제시해 보고자 한다. 오늘날 설교는 침체되어 가고 붕괴되어가는 상황에서 더욱 내실을 굳건히 해나가야 하는 의무가 설교자에게 있다. 시대적으로 민감한 이러한 현실에서 설교자의 관심은 설교의 내용에서 설교유형에도 관심을 가져야 할 것이다. 설교의 내용이 아무리 좋더라도 잘 전달이 되지 않는다는 것은 맹인에게서 지팡이를 빼앗는 격이 되는 것이다. 이미지화 된 문화에 익숙해져 있는 현대의 청중들에게 메시지를 전달하는 방식은 몇 가지의 논리나 명제에 의한 어떤 개념적 내용을 듣기보다는 이미지(Image), 메타포(Metaphor), 스토리(story) 그리고 가시적인 이미지로 확장될 때 청중의 집중도에 큰 변화를 가져올 것이다. 현대의 소통 언어는 이미지화로 설교 또한 그림을 그리는 것처럼 보여주는 언어(audiovisual language)를 사용하여 말씀을 선포할 때 메시지는 더욱 강해질 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 귀납적 설교와 이야기 설교(Narrative Preaching) 이론을 기반으로 오늘날 한국강단에서 플롯구성과 이미지화를 통해 메시지 전달에 극대화를 가져올 수 있는 설교방법을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 현대사회에 새로운 설교 문화를 만들어가며, 청중들로 하여금 복음을 받아들이고, 인격의 변화와 신앙의 성장을 경험하도록 돕는데 목적을 가지고 접근하고자 한다.

영어초록

The reality of today's culture and social change is that the audience is stained with cultural ills that prevent them from listening and understanding the word of God. However in each age, God raised a pioneer, a preacher, in accordance with the situation and the culture of the time. Therefore, God will raise many preachers in the future, and the procession to convey the voice of God will continue. It is also true that the prevailing preachers who control the rapidly changing generation of this procession are encouraging the preachers' minds today to be more used to the work of preaching the gospel. I believe that the sermon using imagery will help the audience understand the true meaning of word of God and transforms one 's life based on the gospel. The sermon is not an old story of an archaeologist, but a worship that shows the history of the living God who was, and is and always will be. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are people who passed by, but God is the God of the living. Therefore, preaching is to convey the God who is present at the moment. The message that makes the Early Church into a modern church is not a collection of words of the dead. Therefore, the sermon must be infused with vitality. This is possible only with the Holy Spirit. The heart of the congregation should burn with the word of God just as the preacher's heart burns in every worship. It is clear that these preachers will not have a dead sermon. God will manifest his living through such preachers. And those who have experienced such a presence will not leave God's Word, will give up their sinful ways, stay away from their idols, leave their secular lives, and yearn for the eternal kingdoms drawn in their hearts. Therefore, the preachers create a large forest through the principle of inductive preaching, then create a theme with various trees in the by constructing plots, and place details such as birds and animals well in each place where each theme is. If we can complete the imagery that helps better understanding of God's providence using this method, the audience will experience the real rest of their soul in the Lord's forest. I conclude with the anticipation that the presentation of these issues and the methodologies in this paper becomes a small fruit that will shine a light for those who are eager to become true preachers of this age.
