울산 교동리유적 1호 목관묘출토 복안(覆顔)과 청동제유물의 재검토 (Study on the Dead mask and bronze relic from No.1, Gyodong-ri archaeological site, Ulsan)

초록

영남지방 목관묘에서 관찰되는 복안(覆顔)의 형태는 한경(漢鏡)과 부채 등을 이용한 것이 일반적이다. 특히 ‘부채 복안’은 조장(鳥裝)을 의미하는 것으로 인식되어 왔다. 그러나 울산 교동리유적 1호 목관묘에서는 ‘포대(布袋) 복안’이 관찰되었다. 1호 목관묘에서는 삼각형점토대 파수부옹, 두형토기 등을 비롯한 토기류와 소환두도, 세형동검, 동모, 동과, 일산살꼭지(蓋弓帽), 원통형동기(圓筒形銅器) 등 청동제 유물이 출토되었다. 이 중 소환두도, 초현기 세형동검, 원통형동기 등의 출토는 피장자가 한나라 혹은 고조선과의 관련 있음을 시사한다.
1호 목관묘 출토 유물 중에서 세형동검과 공반되는 검초, 검파를 추정 복원하였다. 일산살꼭지와 함께 한나라 관련 유물로 인식되는 원통형동기에 대해서도 출토 양상을 통해 원통형동기가 원통형칠기에 삽입되는 모식을 파악하여 유물의 속성을 재고하였다.
탄소연대측정으로 1호 목관묘의 조성시기를 추정하는 한편 기존 청동제유물에 대한 납동위체 분석치를 재검증하였다. 1호 목관묘와 세형동검의 조성시기 및 제작연대가 기원전 2세기 중반까지 올라갈 가능성과 함께 청동제유물의 납동위원소 추정 산지가 양분되는 결과를 재확인하였다.
결론적으로 한대장법(漢代葬法)에서 재지계장법으로 매장양식이 바뀌는 시간적 변화 중에서도 ‘포대 복안’은 특히 더 선행하는 조건으로 인식하였고, 자연과학적 분석결과와 세형동검 등의 유물속성 재고를 통해 울산 교동리유적 1호 목관묘의 조성시기에 대한 소급가능성을 제기하였다.

영어초록

It’s common for using Chinese Han-mirror, fan with a feather etc. that the dead mask’s form that is observed on the acient wooden coffine in Yeongnam province. The dead mask made of fan with a feather have been especially recognized to mean the bird symbolizing the decorations. But the hemp sack dead mask was discovered in the acient wooden coffine No.1, Gyodong-ri archaeological site, Ulsan. Sword with patternless ring pommel, initial slender bronze dagger etc. were unearthed as associated. Buried person was expected to exist as there is a relationship and impact of Chinese Han or Ancient Chosun.
It’s excavated bronze spears, sunshade at the end, bronze pail and bronze dagger including woody sheath, grip etc. Especially resumption was restored features of the bronze dagger to be an element of the chronology and the woody sheath, grip those were associated. Through the residual aspects about the bronze pail recognized as an artifact related to Nangnang(colony of Chinese Han) with the sunshade at the end, reconsidering the features of the artifact to figuring out a type that cylindrical lacquerware was inserted in the bronze pail.
In the meantime, the construction of the time to carbon dating estimated the acient wooden coffine No.1, the relics and associated facilities of the features were reviewed to retestify the value analysis of bronze relics for the Lead isotope. To exceeding the middle of the second century B.C were reconfirmed those are slender bronze dagger of production, period when the acient wooden coffine No.1 had been built up and estimated production facilities are divided in the analysis of bronze relics for the Lead isotope.
To conclude, the hemp sack dead mask is recognized a condition for particularly ahead of it in the characteristics of chronology that can change funeral form from Chinese Han-style funeral process to Korean-style funeral process. Through the scientific analysis, review relics such as the slender bronze dagger of the characteristics, it can be raised the possibility of retroactive chronology that it's the construction of the time to the acient wooden coffine No.1, Gyodong-ri archaeological site, Ulsan.
