남원 동부지역 삼국시대 고분의 활용방안 검토— 남원 유곡리 및 두락리 고분군을 중심으로 — (The Investigation Status and Method of Conservation and Utilization of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri Tombs in Namwon)

초록

Recently, each local autonomous entity is seeking diverse plans to inform the area through the tourism commercialization by excavating the affiliated cultural heritage or the local special products or the developing content of culture of regional brand, etc. Ancient Tombs of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri located in the eastern area of Namwon is designated as the monument No. 10 of Jeollabuk-do. The grave status has been identified through the recent survey；the historical site designation is being promoted with this opportunity. Ancient Tombs of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri of Namwon is the important relic in understanding Namwon of ancient society. The basic survey should be realized for the ancient Tombs for the understanding of status and character to establish the identity of this area and to prepare the conservation and utilization plan. There is the archaeological field survey and the geophysical survey, etc. as the method；the precise excavation survey should be realized based on this. Evidences that can restore the scenery of those days through the survey should be understand, this should be applied properly at time of restoration of original form. Diverse programs such as the education, experience and watching, etc. should be aimed to be operated, utilized by creating as the rest area and the place of historical education to general citizen and visitors as well as local residents by making the ancient Tomb into the relic and park that the conservation measure of restoration of original form has been realized. In future, the utilization of relic by establishing the museum like the ancient Tombs of Jisan-dong, of Koryoung would be the good example if the survey for the ancient Tombs of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri of Namwon and for the surrounding ancient Tombs is realized continuously.
The participation of local residents is very important in promoting the conservation and utilization for the buried Archaeological Heritage that the recognition of general people is insufficient relatively compared to other cultural assets. For this, local residents shall have to take part in the conservation and utilization by informing the importance of ancient Tombs through the academic survey for the excavation survey and the performance of ancient Tombs of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri of Namwon for this.
And, the interest of general people should be induced through the sightseeing products connected with the important tourist attraction surrounding the ancient Tombs of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri of Namwon. Diverse production of promotional materials capable of inducing the interest should be realized together.
Institutes in relation to the Archaeological Heritage, Namwon-si and local residents all should have the interest for this. Especially Namwon likely to have to prepare the systematic survey plan and management, conservation and utilization plan by benchmarking the process that the adjacent Koryoung-si registers the Jisan-dong, ancient Tombs of Koryoung similar to the ancient Tombs of Ugok-ri and Durak-ri of Namwon.
