초록

Film "14+" is the story of a first love, which happens in the suburbs of a big city. The modern Romeo and Juliet live in the social networks and in the streets that are governed by iron rules, which the two young people don’'t want to follow. In order to be together, the protagonists encounter many obstacles. Their schools are rivals, so their blossoming bonds are a treachery of their turf and their gangs. The lovers also clash with their parents, who are not ready to accept that the children have grown up so fast and that each of these teenagers already has a personality and the right to choose. Their own complexes, the lack of confi dence in themselves, the fear of taking the fi rst step, the scare of being rejected –- all this is overcome by true love.
“The Guest” is a story about a group of young geo-physicists who travel to a place where a mysterious meteorite has crashed. In this remote area, away from civilization, they are in the epicentre of events that are inexplicable from the point of view of modern science.
Artem Temnikov’'s film "No comment" investigates the reasons why Islamists manage to recruit young people in European countries and send them to fight at various hot spots (Syria, Iraq, Chechnya). The film tells the story of a young German man, who fell under the influence of such recruiters and ended up in Chechnya. When he realized his mistake, it was already too late. The fi lm is based on real events, video footage of the Special Forces, and a trophy piece found after a fight in a dugout in a Chechen village. The characters and events are real.
In the film "Salvation" sister Anna, a young Catholic nun from Poland, is sent as missionary to a congregation in the Himalayas. Anna is 25 years old and has spent half of her life in the monastery. She clashes with an entirely different culture, with different energies and another religion. The mysterious world of Tibet and the accidental meetings on the way raise complex questions and ideas.
The film "Angels of Revilution" is based on real events. 1934. Disquiet in the north of the USSR: the Hanty and Nenets shamans do not want to accept new traditions. In order to reconcile two great cultures - of the Russian avant-garde and of ancient paganism - some artists travel to the taiga near the river Ob.
In the film "Pioneer heroes" a long time ago Olga, Katia and Andrei came to Moscow: they are friends from school. They are quite successful. They live like everybody else. But this brings them neither happiness nor satisfaction. The feeling that “everything is kind of normal, but something’s not right” is the main motif of today’s thirty-somethings.
The film "Insight"’s hero, Pavel Zuyev, loses his eyesight and has to start his life all over. All the links to his former life are broken, but in his new life he meets a remarkable woman, who is able to see more than other people. Her name is, quite symbolically, Nadezhda, for Hope, and she works in the local hospital. Nadezhda helps Zuyev regain his powers and acquire a new sense for reality. These two equally strong characters will spend some of the best days of their lives.
“The Land of OZ" is a story about the Russian New Year. With uncontrollable force, the annual hurricane sweeps across the “sixth of the world”. This hurricane brings the infantile Lena from her clear little world to the country of strange wizards - with an Olivier salad and a herring tucked in under her fur coat. These wizards can perform incredible miracles: they can do a triple toe-loop from the third floor, drive a car without using their hands, or take an ordinary firework to reach the centre of the earth. They command the energy of Tsigun and Tantra. Unwittingly, they can surprise the enemy, cast spells to burn down castles and even revive loved ones.
This improbable country is full of dangers, and Lena has to cross it in the companyof the dog Tyutya, as she searches for the treasured booth.
