초록

This paper deals with the semantic connection between prefixation and aspect. It considers such traditional problems as pure perfectivizing prefixes,Aktionsart and aspect pairs. The account of verbal neologisms with prefixes raz-, ot-, pod-, po-, o- appeals to the concept of scenario, which leads to new answers to many traditional questions. While there are those who deny to the existence of empty verbal prefixes in Russian, it remains the problem of deciding how and where to draw the line between clear and unclear lexical meanings of prefixes in the formation of perfective verbs.
This analysis based on meaning-components of prefixes raz-, ot-, pod-,po-, o- in verbal neologisms proves more fruitful with respect to the semantic relation between prefixes and the stem of verbs in the process of perfectivation in modern Russian. The central point is that the meaning of verbal prefixes in a good many perfective verbal neologisms is neutralized ("Preverbe Vide" realized) in the process of perfectivization in modern Russian. This article proves that the phenomenon of "Preverbe vides" is not an instant semantic neutralization in modern Russian.
