초록

This is a study of the presumption of the burial date through the Chul-rik. They are excavated costumes of Ryu, Clan of Jin-ju, from Muneong-ri, Daedeok-myeon, Anseong city, Gyeonggi Province, Korea .
Chul-rik is a men's wear of Joseon Dynasty, worn as daily wear in the early period of Joseon Dynasty. In the later period of Joseon Dynasty, it was worn as a formal wear, and uniform for military officers. Chul-rik is a kind of jacket that Jegori and chima is attached together, and has distinct differences according to the period. The presumption of the period is possible especially through the shape of collar, shape of sleeve, proportion of the Jegori and chima, kind and size of the pleats of the skirt, straps attached to adjust the clothes, and existence and nonexistence of a triangular gusset under the arm.
This study presumes the burial date through comparing the excavated Chul-rik of Ryu, and the other excavated Chul-rik that has the similar shape and size with the Chul-rik of Ryu. As a result of the study, the burial date of Ryu, clan of Jin-ju, is assumed to be late 16th century(1570～1580).
