초록

포은의 청심루 제영 제2수는 ‘明朝’로 전구의 말머리를 삼은 절구의 대표적 사례다. 포은의 작품은 이로써 자연의 경물을 위한 증별이 처음 비롯된 점에서 새롭다. 인물을 위한 증별을 위하여 ‘明朝’로 전구의 말머리를 삼는 관습과 그 격식은 당송시대 이래의 중국 시가예술사에 이미 자취가 있었던 바지만, 동일한 격식에 이처럼 자연의 경물을 위한 증별을 새기는 사례는 포은의 작품이 그 효시다. 본고는 이러한 관심에서 ‘明朝’로 전구의 말머리를 삼은 절구의 격식과 역대의 작품을 고찰하는 것으로써 작성의 목표를 삼았다.
하나의 시구를 ‘明朝’라는 단어로 시작하는 구법은 흔히 인물을 위한 증별에 쓰였고, 이것은 거의 고시나 율시의 마무리에 나오는 바였다. 그런데 이러한 시구가 절구의 마무리에 나오는 때는 장법의 층위에서 작품의 전폭을 좌우하는 기축으로 기능하는 까닭에 중요성이 퍽 다르다. 절구의 제3구에 놓이는 ‘明朝’는 임박한 확정적 미래의 어떠한 사건을 들어서 문득 전절을 이루고 이로써 전환과 집중의 효과를 낳는다. 기구와 승구를 벗어나 결구에 이르는 의미의 자연스러운 비약을 가능하게 하거나 작품의 결구에 언어적 긴장을 불어넣는 효과는 특히 제3구의 전환에 따른 화제의 집중에서 나온다.
망헌의 자경당 절구는 인물을 위한 증별의 압권이다. 승구의 ‘머리맡으로 물고기 튀어 오르는 소리를 밤이 깊어 듣는다.’는 천만년의 경책이다. 물고기 튀어 오르는 소리와 여강의 달 가까이 배를 대는 동작은 도무지 불가사의한 전환이다. 독자는 결구에 가서야 이별을 깨닫는다. 한벽루 제영의 하나로 전하는 사암의 절구 제1수는 포은의 격식과 태세를 모두 빼어 닮았다. 결구의 ‘흰 구름, 붉게 물든 나무는 눌 보라는 가을이려오?’에 비치는 욕심은 지극한 자연애의 표현이다. 사암의 한벽루 제영은 경물을 위한 증별의 백미다.

Poeun's 2nd piece of the poems for Cheongsimru is a representative example of quatrain, which used the word 'tomorrow'. Poeun's 2nd piece of the poems for Cheongsimru is new in that it is the first farewell poem for nature scenery. The custom and formality of using the word 'tomorrow' as the leading term of the transition phrase has already been traced to the history of Chinese poetry art since the Tang and Song period. However, Poeun's 2nd piece of the poems for Cheongsimru is the beginning of the case of farewell poem for nature scenery in the same formality. From this interest, this paper examines the formality of quatrain using the word 'tomorrow' as the leading term of the transition phrase and investigates the works through the ages.
The phrase rule of starting a poem with the word 'tomorrow' was often used as a farewell poem for people, and it was almost always at the end of a ancient poems and modern rhythmic poems. However, when this phrase rule appears at the end of quatrain, its importance is very different from the end of a ancient poems and modern rhythmic poems because it function as a axle that determines the overall width of the work at the level of the composition rule. When the word 'tomorrow' placed in the third phrase of quatrain, it suddenly becomes a transition by presenting a certain event of the imminent definite future, resulting in the effect of diversion and concentration. The effect of enabling a natural leap of meaning in the process of getting out of first phrase and succession phrase to ending phrase, or infusing verbal tension in the ending phrase comes from the focus of the topic in particular following the transition of the third phrase.
Mangheon's Jagyeongdang quatrain is the top-ranking works of the farewell poem for people. Succession phrase, 'I listen to the sound of fish popping up at my head at night.', is a ten-million-year aphorism. The sound of the fish popping up at my head and the motion of placing a boat close to the moon in Yeogang show a mysterious transition. Readers realize the breakup only when they go to the ending phrase. Saam's 1st piece of the quatrain conveyed as one of the poems for Hanbyeokru resembles perfectly Poeun's formality and posture. Greed reflected in ending phrase, 'Who will see the white clouds and reddish trees in this fall?', is an expression of extreme love for nature. Saam's 1st piece of the poems for Hanbyeokru is the best works of the farewell poem for nature scenery.
