명리학 육친론의 근원적 고찰 (An Underlying Study on the Theory Related to Families in Four pillars of Destiny (命理學))

초록

본고는 자평명리 육친론의 근원, 성립, 발전을 추적한 글이다. 그 결과 명리학이 태동하기 이전, 전한(前漢)의 『춘추번로』와 『회남자』에서 근원한 자평명리 육친론이 전한 말기 경방(京房)에 의한 경방역을 거쳐, 남송말기 서대승의『자평삼명통변연원』에서 성립된 이후, 명리학의 중추적 이론으로 자리매김하게 된다.
『춘추번로』와 『회남자』에서는 봄이 여름을 낳고, 여름이 가을을 낳고, 가을이 겨울을 낳고, 겨울이 봄을 낳는다는 자연의 운행법칙에 근원한 육친 개념이 부자(父子)와 모자(母子)만을 가리켰다. 그 이후 경방에 의해 부, 모, 형, 제, 배우자, 자식(아들, 딸) 등으로 육친의 의미가 확장되었고, 남송 말기 서대승에 의해 『자평삼명통변연원』<천간통변도>에서 정관, 편관, 정인, 편인, 비견, 패재[양인(겁재)], 식신, 상관, 정재, 편재 등의 ‘십신(十神)’이 발표되면서 육친론이 성립되었다.
『자평삼명통변연원』<천간통변도>에서 성립된 자평명리 육친론에는 고대로부터 전승된 음양설의 조화와 부조화, 오행설의 생(生)과 극(剋)의 이치로 남명기준의 정모와 편모, 형과 아우, 처와 아버지, 처의 자식인 아들과 딸의 설정이 가능하게 되었고, 또한 여명기준의 정모와 편모, 형과 아우, 아들과 딸, 처와 아버지, 그리고 어머니의 남편 및 아버지의 처 등 자세한 육친관계 설정이 가능하게 되었다. 이러한 육친론은 가족관계 외에도 삶을 영위하기 위한 수단으로서 재물과 관직에 각각 편재·정재와 편관·정관이 응용되는가 하면, 명리학의 격국·용신에 응용됨으로써, 육친론이 자평명리의 중추적 이론으로 자리잡게 되었다는 결론을 얻었다.

영어초록

This thesis traced the root, establishment, and development of the theory related to families in Japyeongmyeongli. As the result, before Myeongli Science began, the theory related to families in Japyeongmyeongli originated from 『Chunqiufanlu (Chunchubeonlo)』 and 『Huainanzi (Hoenamja)』 in the Eastern Dynasty(前漢) became the crucial theory of Myeonli Science after it was established in 『Japyeongsammyungtongbyeonyeonwon』 by Seodaeseung in the late Southern Song Dynasty after going through Gyeongbangyeok by Gyeongbang(京房) in the late Eastern Dynasty.
In 『Chunqiufanlu (Chunchubeonlo)』 and 『Huainanzi (Hoenamja)』, the concept related to families originated from the natural operation rule that spring produces summer, summer does autumn, autumn does winter just indicates father and son(父子) and mother and son(母子). After that, the meaning related to families was expanded into fathers, mothers, elder brothers, younger brothers, spouses, children (sons and daughters). And the theory related to families worked as ‘Ten gods(十神)’ including upright official, partial official, proper seal, partial seal, shoulder-of-equal-level, Paejae [Yangin(Geopjae)], gourmet spirit, official jinx, regular wealth, and side wealth was established in <Cheongantongbyeondo>, 『Japyeongsammyungtongbyeonyeonwon』 by Seodaeseung in the late Southern Song Dynasty.
In the theory related to families in Japyeongmyeongli established in <Cheongantongbyeondo> 『Japyeongsammyungtongbyeonyeonwon』, mothers and single mothers, elder and younger brothers, wife and father, and sons and daughters who are wives' children based on Nammyeong and the detailed relationships among families including mothers and single mothers, elder and younger brothers, sons and daugthers, wives, fathers, mothers' husbands, and fathers' wives could be set as harmony and disharmony of yin and yang inherited from ancient times and sheng(生) and ke(剋) in the five elements theory. The study drew the conclusion that the theory related to families became the crucial theory of Japyeongmyeongli as it was applied to side wealth and regular wealth and partial official and upright official in wealth and public office and Gyeokguk and applicable spirit in Myeongli Science as means for leading a life with the family relations.
