교사학습공동체로 운영한 체육입시 공동교육과정 사례연구 (A Case Study of the Joint Curriculum for the Physical Education Entrance Exam Operated by the Teacher Learning Community)

초록

공교육 체육입시는 다양한 어려움과 한계를 지니고 있어 오랫동안 사교육에 의존하고 있다. 그간 이루어진 선행연구에서는 이를 개선하기 위해 다양한 방안이 제시되었지만, 복잡다단한 학교 현장의 특성상 적용사례는찾아보기 어려웠으며 실천적 노력에 관한 연구도 부족했다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사교육 의존도를 낮춤과 동시에 공교육 체육입시를 발전시키고자 교사학습공동체와 공동교육과정의 방식을 접목하여 새로운 형태로 운영되고 있는 체육입시 프로그램을 연구사례로 선정하여 사례연구를 실시하였다. 연구의 목적은 교사학습공동체에 의해 효과적으로 운영되고 있는 체육입시 공동교육과정 프로그램 운영사례를 심층적으로 살펴봄으로써프로그램 운영을 위한 운영교사의 노력 과정과 경험의 의미를 탐구하고 체육계열 입시지도의 발전 가능성을확인하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 해당 프로그램을 운영하는 운영교사를 연구 참여자로 선정하고 선행연구 및 각종 문헌 자료 분석을 기초로 반 구조화된 설문지를 구성하여 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 새롭게 시도된 교사학습공동체의 공동교육과정 운영과정은 협동과 집단지성의 필요성에 의해 조직되어 다양한 시행착오를 거쳐 발전된 체계로 운영되고 있었다. 둘째, 운영교사 경험의 의미는 실기훈련에 치우치지 않고 다방면의 진학지도를 실시하여 교육적 의무를 넘어 본인의 교육적 자아실현을 위해 노력하는 성취의 과정이었다. 셋째, 체육입시 진학지도를 저해하는 다양한 문제는 연구사례의 운영방식을 통해 극복할 수있는 희망과 발전 가능성을 전망할 수 있다. 결론적으로 공교육 체육입시 진학지도는 운영 주체인 체육교사와교육기관의 지속적인 관심 아래 발전을 기대할 수 있으며, 기존의 한계를 타파할 수 있는 혁신적 시도의 노력이 촉구된다.

영어초록

The physical education entrance exam of public education has been dependent on private education for a long time as it has various difficulties and limitations. Various methods have been suggested in previous studies to improve this, but it was difficult to find application examples due to the complex nature of the school site and there was a lack of research on practical efforts. Thus, to reduce dependence on private education and enhance the physical education entrance exam of public education, the study carried out a case study by combining the method of the teacher learning community and the joint curriculum and selecting the physical education entrance exam program that is being operated in a new form. The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of the operational teachers’ effort process and experience for program operation and confirm the development potential of the physical education entrance exam guidance by examining in depth the cases of the joint physical education curriculum program that is effectively operated by the teacher learning community. To this end, operational teachers who operate the program were selected as a research participant and an in-depth interview was conducted by composing a semi-structured questionnaire based on the analysis of previous studies and various literature data. The research results are as follows. First, the newly attempted joint curriculum operation process of the teacher learning community was organized by the need for cooperation and collective intelligence and was operated as a system developed through various trials and errors. Second, the meaning of the operating teacher experience was that it was a process of achievement in which one attempted to achieve one’s educational self-realization beyond the educational obligations by carrying out educational guidance in various fields without being biased towards practical training. Third, regarding the various problems that hinder the guidance for the physical education entrance exam, the hopes and development potential that can be overcome through the operation method of the study case can be predicted. In conclusion, physical education entrance exam guidance of public education can be expected to be developed under the continuous interest of physical education teachers and educational institutions, who are the main actors, and efforts for innovative attempts to break the existing limitations are urged.
