초록

2020년 코로나19 바이러스가 퍼지면서 전 세계적으로 문화적 측면에 많은 변화가 일어났다. 대면보단 비대면 위주의 사회활동이 증가되는 양상이 코로나19 사태의 가장 가시적인 변화중 하나로 꼽히고 있다. 그러나 불가피한 대면 활동으로 인해 마스크 착용이 필수 요소로 자리 잡으면서 주얼리 시장에 ‘마스크스트랩’ 이라는 상품과 그에 적용된 디자인들이 하나의 트렌드로 자리잡게 되었다.
코로나19로 인한 마스크용 스트랩 디자인 현황에관한 연구 목적은 코로나19로 인한 라이프스타일 변화를 분석하고 해당 연구에서 도출된 데이터를 바탕으로 마스크스트랩을 디자인하고 공급하는 제작, 판매업체에게 그 기준을 제시하여 도움을 주는 데 목적을두었다. 본 연구 목적 달성을 위해 뉴스, 인터뷰를 참고하여 현 상황과 실태를 파악했으며, 국가 공식 방역사이트와 각종 대형쇼핑 플랫폼 사이트를 활용하여마스크와 마스크스트랩 종류를 분석하였다.
먼저 마스크스트랩 트렌드 성장의 근본적인 이유를찾기 위해 코로나19로 인한 라이프스타일 현상을 알아보았다. 방역지침으로 인한 사회 활동의 단절이 사회적 대면 욕구 및 결핍으로 이어졌고 이는 스스로에대한 개성 표출 욕구를 상승시키는 데에 영향을 미쳤기 때문이라고 해석됐다. 이러한 사회적 현상을 바탕으로 조사한 마스크스트랩 사용 증가 추이에 따르면마스크의 사용 기간이 장기화됨에 따라 일상적으로쓰이게 되면서 사람들이 마스크를 방역용품뿐만 아니라 하나의 스타일로써 인식하기 시작했다. 그 결과 기능에 초점이 맞춰져 있던 마스크스트랩이 각종 방송매체를 통해 가시화 되자 개성있는 디자인을 갖춰가기 시작했다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 마스크스트랩 디자인 사례 현황을 조사하였다. 코로나19 방역지침에 따른 마스크는 천 마스크, 방진, 수술용 보건용 비말차단용 도합 다섯 가지로 구분됨을 확인하였으며 현재 시장에 나와 있는 마스크스트랩은 소재에따라 디자인이 달라지므로 이를 중점으로 크게 패브릭, 가죽, 비즈, 금속 실리콘 다섯 가지로 분류하였다.
더불어 마스크걸이 연결 부자재를 유형에 따라 집게형과 고리형, 버튼형, 집게형 네 가지로 나누어 분석하였다. 그 결과 소비자들은 자신의 개성 표현을 위해커스터마이징이 용이한 제품을 선호하였으며 구매 비중이 높은 제품은 내구성이 좋고 착용감이 좋은 패브릭 마스크스트랩임을 확인 하였다. 본 연구의 종합적인 결과, 마스크스트랩의 수요와 공급은 기능과 개성이라는 두 가지 특성과 함께 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러므로 향후 편리하고 위생적인 마스크 착용을위하여 본 연구가 마스크스트랩 제작과 디자인을 위한 기초 자료로써 활용되기를 기대한다.

With the spread of the COVID-19 virus in 2020, many cultural changes have taken place around the world. The increase in non-face-to-face social activities rather than face-to-face is considered one of the most visible changes in the COVID-19 situation.
However, due to unavoidable face-to-face activities, wearing a mask has become an essential element, and the trend of ‘mask strap’ has taken the lead in the jewelry market.
The purpose of the study on the current status of the mask strap design due to Corona 19 is to analyze the lifestyle change caused by the Corona and provide the standards to manufacturers and sellers who design and supply mask straps based on the data derived from the study to provide help. aimed at giving In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the current situation and actual conditions were identified by referring to news and interviews, and the types of masks and mask straps were analyzed using the official national quarantine site and various large shopping platform sites.
First, in order to find the fundamental reason for the growth of the mask strap trend, the lifestyle phenomenon caused by Corona 19 was investigated. The interruption of social activities due to the quarantine guidelines led to social face-to-face desire and lack, which was interpreted as having an effect on raising the desire to express one’s individuality. According to the trend of increase in the use of mask straps surveyed on the basis of these social phenomena, as the period of use of the mask has been prolonged, it has become more common, and people have started to recognize the mask as not only a quarantine product but also a style.
As a result, the mask strap, which was focused on the function, was visualized through various broadcasting media, and it began to have a unique design. Based on these research results, the current status of mask strap design cases was investigated.It has been confirmed that the masks according to the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines are divided into five categories: cloth masks, dust-proofing, and surgical and health splash-blocking.
Since the design of the mask straps currently on the market varies depending on the material, it is mainly made of fabric and leather. beads, and metallic silicon were classified into five categories. In addition, the material for connecting the mask hanger was analyzed by dividing it into four types: clamp type, ring type, button type, and clamp type according to the type. As a result, consumers preferred products that were easy to customize to express their individuality, and it was confirmed that the product with a high proportion of purchases was a durable and comfortable fabric mask strap. As a result of this study, the demand and supply of mask straps are continuously increasing with two characteristics: function and personality. Therefore, it is expected that this study will be utilized as basic data for the manufacture and design of mask straps for convenient and hygienic mask wearing in the future.
