내적상상력을 이용한 내러티브 6단계 비평 연구 (A research in 6 phase narrative critique using internal imaginations)

초록

본 연구는 하나의 작품을 다양하게 해석하고 감상하게 되는 원인이 무엇인가에 대한 질문으로부터 시작되었다. 역사적으로 이미 미술과 상상력의 관계는 검증되었지만 상상력이 감상자의 비평 활동에 어떤 영향을 주는가에 대한 연구는 미미하다. 예술가는 자신의 생각이나 내면세계를 상징적인 조형언어로 가시화하는 과정에서 내적상상력을 발휘하며, 감상자는 작품을 자신의 시각적 언어로 재개념화 하는 과정에서 내적상상력을 발휘한다. 이에 본 연구는 눈에 보이지 않는 상상력 즉 개인이 보유하고 있는 특수한 상상력의 실체를 비평 활동 과정에서 직접 확인함으로써 내적상상력과 비평의 연관성을 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 내러티브 6단계 비평모형을 개발하였으며, 그 적용 결과를 토대로 내적상상력을 활용한 비평수업 논의에 화두를 던지고자 한다.

영어초록

This research starts with the question what makes various interpretations and appreciations from one work. Although the correlations between arts and imaginations have been verified historically, there have been few researches in how imaginations affect an appreciator’s critique. Artists use internal imaginations in creating one’s thoughts or inner world into symbolic formative art, appreciators use internal imaginations in reconceptualizing a work into one’s own visual language. Therefore this research is to closely examine the relationship between internal imaginations and critics by checking non- visual imaginations-so called the substantiality of specific imaginations that individuals possess-in the process of criticizing activity. Besides, it provides narrative 6-level critic model to be applied to field of education based on its verified details.
Narrative 6-level critic is to structuralize art-critic activity through narratively thoughts with narrative investigations. First, 1-level is a course of explaining the work of art into writings. Second, 2-level is a course of drawing image after reading the writings that include descriptions for the work of art. Third, 3-level is a course of drawing picture after listening to the explanation of work of art. Forth, 4-level is a course of investigating the work of art, which means an activity to draw picture by using visual memory after appreciating the work of art for a short period of time. 5-level is a course of analyzing․re-interpreting, that is, representing the existing work of art newly. Lastly, 6-level is a course of re-making existing critics with one's own terms after investigating art-related terms.
