태백문화권과 문경새재아리랑의 가치 (The Taebaek cultural Range and A Value of MunGyeongsajae Arirang)

MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang is the representative, symbolic and traditional heritage of MunGyeong city. The musical culture of Bakdudaigan, emotional culture of old days ridge and life culture of ancient-future, these three strata are located to the symbolic bondage of MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang. So MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang had universal and special heritage of the Korean people as a regional culture. Special aspect of Arirang can be investigated as an international DNA which was handing down in the region like MunGyeong-Saejae. The enthusiastic preservation politics about The MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang depend on a creative practice. There are no exceptions to city of MunGyeong in changes of informational knowledge society. It is very important that residents should have a will to keep native sources in the region of MunGyeong. I brought up a very important question about theory on Arirang of Bakdudaigan in the relation with Taebaek cultural range. There is something, what one should do, in the art and culture industry in the promising moment MunGyeong city. So we should control the spirit of MunGyeong native and study esthetics. And we must devise a proper measure to the projects to revigorate local culture in the centre of MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang. It is reasonable that MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang should be designated as intangible cultural assets by the Cultural Properties Administration. Also it is necessary to develop an Arirang experiencing place linking these Arirang towns (MunGyeong-Saejae and Hachori). We have to make the best use of brand of Arirang old ways.
I hope that MunGyeong-Saejae become a sightseeing resort indebtedness of developing K-Arirang by the five senses experience for Arirang heritage. I propose a forum in this academic conference. Arirang intangible cultural assets should be designated, so the MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang towns, Arirang gravestone, structures of melody could be reexamined. I emphasize the important point that MunGyeong-Saejae Arirang is given a great deal of weight on the Taebaek cultural range and it can be the origin of YungNam Arirang and GyungNam Arirang.
